I hate to give a bad review since I love sacred geometry so much, thus I want to support all artists and authors who make books on sacred geometry.

But I was disappointed by this book. the art on the cover and the few art drawing on his Facebook ads are not representative of the book. most of the book are scratchy sketches, most of which are not the natural items covered in lines and numbers and such. even went as far as thinking about returning it.

I found out about Rafael's art when I began following him on Instagram. Once I heard about the availability of the coloring book on Amazon, I had to get my hands on it! Each piece in the book is beautifully printed, and each page is perforated for those who would like to frame the finished pieces. I however, will be one of those who can't decide what color schemes to use so I photocopy a bunch to try out... Overall a big fan of this beautiful and sophisticated coloring book.

Amazon just delivered it ... I ordered Friday and I cannot believe it's already here. I cannot decide which medium to use - water color, pencil, or Copic to do these illustrations justice.

I sort of want to use my foil machine on a few so leaf the design before painting them - then use the designs as art in my home.

Golden book of golden ratio

Was interested in geometric coloring book and understanding golden ratio and its effect on natural design. Rafael Araujo's current work is significant work towards blending both the flavor. While going trough the pages of the art works I wished for some explanation of the drawings and overall evolution of the art works and how and where the exact Golden ratio has been used. The details of the drawings are mind boggling but unexplained. Perhaps the idea of a sequel volume with the more explanation of the measures and stereo graphic projections and the design steps can be contemplated. An interesting topic can be application of golden ratio in Penrose tiling.

The overall design of the book is well thought after and leaves the reader/artist with plenty of coloring ideas. Special mention must be made of the high quality of the canvas like paper the book is made of. An absolute joy!!

Perfect gift for sacred geometry geeks

I got this for my brother for Christmas and he loved it so much. I honestly think it was the best Christmas gift he received. It shows very intricately how the patterns of the golden ratio show up in different things, and it's perfect if you have someone who's a total geek for the Fibonacci sequence

This is a complex and beautiful book. The paper quality is such that the colored pens I use do not bleed through. I am certain that no two people would color any of these the same way. Each one is a meditation as well as, a beautiful piece of art. Would highly recommend.

This book is very sturdily constructed on good paper. The drawings are delightful illustrations of the Golden Ratio in nature. This is a good book for artists, students of nature, and students of engineering.

Kickstarter to Amazon great book!

I was one of the Kickstarter backers that got this project funded. I thought the concept for the book was a wonderful idea and would have ordered multiple copies through Kickstarter, but the project was charging shipping per book and it was quite expensive. I knew that successful Kickstarters usually end up on Amazon and so I waited patiently for the day to come for an Amazon launch of the project, as I enjoy free prime shipping. The Amazon copy arrived and it is the same great quality as the Kickstarted copy. My only complaint is that it is so beautiful it would have been nicer to have been hardcover.

Very Unique Designs on Great Paper

Very beautiful designs! I enjoy the 3D fractal like nature of these patterns. Symmetry is not the right word, and most are more complex than typical, "mandala" style books. High quality paper and printing. Individual pages can be easily separated from the binding (as intended)

I recommend buying some tracing paper too. I like shifting the balance by making a simplified copy, or coloring the same design multiple times.

Few adult coloring books are on such high quality paper.

Actually very very impressed!

When I first opened the book I did not get what made it so special to color... well, besides the massive therapy of staring into sacred geometry, and special mathematical angles, the paper quality is fantastic, making it easy for the colors to blend.

But what I most like about it, is how you can literally choose which spaces you want to color in, and how, and by doing so you are able to create your own patterns within the bigger pattern.

Quite brilliant, really.

There is no need to follow the "expected" patterns, and in this, not only are we allowed to explore our own creativity, but it also keeps one from getting "bored" of the picture.

I can come back to the picture any time I want and continue the same picture using a completely different technique, colors, etc and the overall picture will still look amazing.

I've had different people, with different styles color in this book, and it looks incredible every time. It's really magical, no matter what your style is, and how you choose to color the picture, it always comes out looking beautiful. -Must be the sacred geometry, lol.

Anyhow, I loved it, and will most likely be ordering another one, once this one is filled in. There's plenty of room for creativity.
