My husband is an ex-army ranger, and thought this would be a cute book to get him to ready before our first baby came. I liked that it read as a manual vs. a length chapters, I thought that would interest him more than a book he have to take days to read. It was a sucess! He loved the book, read it in an afternoon while waiting around for doctors appointments. He immediately had to go buy his own diaper bag (backpack) like the book suggested, along with all the fixings it suggested too!

If your a new dad or about to be, I would recommend this book to you. If you're not really a reader and were going to read only one book I would say you should get this one. Only took me about a day or so (off and on) to read and the information given is to the point, no fluff. Lots of really great tips and tricks for new dads.

I ordered this book for my boyfriend when we were expecting our daughter. I knew he'd most likely get bored reading some of the regular baby books that are available and after reading the description, this book seemed perfect.

I was right and he read through this book very quickly. It is very informative but also amusing so it was fun to read. The book also arrived before the estimated delivery date which was really nice since I needed it here by his birthday and did not think it would make it in time. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone expecting a child who wants to be informed but also enjoys books that are entertaining

As described, this book is more a field manual than your usual parenting book. Everything is clear and concise without any additional fluff. I really like the bullet point style of delivery along with the big boxes in each chapter that say "Do" on one side and "Don't Do" on the other.

I would recommend this book to any parent (mother or father) to be.

Got this for my husband before our twins were born. I read it myself too, it's GREAT! Cuts out all the BS that so many of these books go into. It's straight to the point and definitely helped get dad as prepared as he could be for two babies!
