Angel food cake looks pretty!

I found out you can make angel food cake look pretty. I have plenty of Nordic Ware pans and they are always wonderful. Apparently, if you lightly spray baking spray in the bottom half of the pan, and make sure you have at least a solid couple of inches around the top of the pan that is not greased, the batter will still climb and cling to the top. I used a box to fill this pan and the heart pan. This one fell out and the heart one had to be fought out because I only sprayed the very bottom. Even after falling out, it still looked great. I just cooled it very quickly in a cold breeze. Here are some pictures for reference.

Seriously, give it a try. It's a whole new way to make use these beautiful pans!

The cakes come out so pretty, HOWEVER this is not a complaint but a warning, if you want the cake to come out butter the pain then spray it with PAM and then flour. I tried the just butter and flour and half my cake wouldn't come out so far warning. I LOVE THIS PAN! It's heavy and easy to clean. Makes my normal bundt pan look like a weeny.

Perfect Rose Cake Pan

Wonderful cake pan! I used a lemon pound cake with a lemon and powdered sugar glaze, and it looked like a professional had made it. It came out of the pan perfectly (I used Baker's Joy to prepare the pan before cooking.) The glaze with just lemon juice and powdered sugar works very well and lets the details show real well. I love this cake pan!

I own at least five Nordic Ware but pans and the greatest thing I can tell you is they release so beautifully, even a complicated pattern like this with deep grooves for the rose petals.. And the best thing I can tell you is always make the cake recipe that is included on the packaging because they are so wonderful. This came with a strawberry and white chocolate cake recipe which I have now made four times. No one will care what you make for dinner.

This pan is small

The description says this is a 10 cup pan. I'm not sure what size cup they used to measure it, but it wasn't 8 ounces. I made a cake that is 10 cups of batter and had to use another pan for part of the batter. I do like the pan, but wish it was bigger. I followed the directions by putting butter and then flour on the pan before filling and I had no issues getting the cake out.

I used the "Rose Bundt Cake Pan" the 2nd day I had it; houseguests were on their way & I had no dessert. Although I had not used it before everyone was so surprised with the presentation. I made a quick lemon & powdered sugar icing to pour over & it was delightful. Even the little one said, "Look Papa, a flower!" And it was, a perfect Rose. I would recommend this to anyone who might be interested in having a pan available with a little pizazz. The Nordic Ware pans are so reliable, beautifully constructed, with never a worry when purchasing one. Amazon had this for a song & I snapped it up. Good luck on finding a Nordic Ware Cake Pan for a nominal price.

Love this bundt pan

Love this bundt pan! Got it for Kentucky Derby and made a Chocolate Bourbon Cake in it. I sprayed it well with Pam Baking Spray (with flour in spray). I alos let it cool 20 minutes in pan after taking it out of the oven and it came out perfectly. I also like the little divots for drizzling a topping. It comes with a tequila strawberry cake recipe on the wrapper and I think I will try that as well. Really impressed with quality. Well worth it.
