Bought this to help 3 year old and 5 year old enjoy the Caribbean water views. They loved being able to walk with it in the shallows and being towed by adults in a bit deeper water- Survived 1 week of use and still no leaks- now being enjoyed in the pool to view other underwater swimmers, helping to increase confidence in these beginning swimmers.

Worked wonderfully in the Florida Keys

Worked wonderfully in the Florida Keys...was able to see wonderful sea life without the hassle of a snorkel and mask. The only thing I would change would be the size....it would be nice if it were a bit bigger.

I would not buy it again

This is an interesting product and well constructed. I would imagine for some this could be a great product, it just did not seem to work well for my children (or me).

We took this on a recent vacation and my five and three year old children tried to use it. Neither liked the device. My five year old child thought it was pretty much useless (he could just snorkel) and my three year old did not think it was stable enough to use without standing. Unfortunately, for a three year old to stand and use it the water has to be pretty shallow - thus eliminating the need for such a device. I tried using it myself and found it too unstable for an adult. Note, you really have to be directly over the device to get any (peripheral) visibility, and even then it is extremely limiting. Take this into consideration: I have spent years free diving so my review will be critical. Lastly, I would note that the device is actually quite heavy - I would not waste the one pound of checked baggage allowance on it.

worked great

It's really easy for my 3 and 5 year olds to use and was easy to bring to the beach every day. We just filled it with the ocean water there and dumped the water before leaving so we didn't have to carry it with water.

The raft is great. You can lay on it

We have this one and the raft one. The raft is so much easier to use. This one is too difficult to hold onto, balance yourself in the water, get over, float, and try to see through. The raft is great. You can lay on it, peer through the incredibly clear bubble and see everything below.

My wife and toddler love this thing. They can look without getting their hair wet. Clearly not great in murky water.

Florida Fun!

Took this on a recent trip to the Gulf Coast: It was a blast!

Used it while floating along in the Gulf and saw a lot of sea life.

Snorkelling in December wasn't possible because of the stormy weather but this was the next best thing. It was just fun...even used it in the pool to see how to "operate" and that was pretty cool. Who says all toys are for kids!

Not so much

I got this because our family was headed to Florida and planned on doing some snorkeling, but my 4 year old isn't quite ready for face masks and mouth pieces. I thought this would be perfect for him so he wouldn't feel left out and he could see what we see. It's awful. The plastic is not clear enough, condensation built up in the center, it was pretty much useless. And it wasn't cheap either. Waste of money. Disappointment.
