I bought several boxes of these because the tips I was getting at my local Walgreens were wearing out fairly frequently. I lean pretty heavily on my cane so I was going through the tips within a few weeks.

The pros: they fit well, they were fairly cheap

The cons: it seems that the metal insert - a metal washer - is smaller than the diameter of my cane, so over time the cane will core out the tip. I put this down to bad design. The metal insert should be much bigger than the diameter of the cane so it will support it.

The bottom line is that these wear out at least a frequently as the tips I buy locally, and when they wear out it is catastrophic. If you put a lot of pressure on your cane I do not recommend these at all.

Appears to be sturdy and well made.

My walking stick was larger then 7/8" but smaller then 1".

The 7/8" size works fine.

Recieved other brands but this is the best. This is much lighter which you need to balance the cane. A good cane tapers to the bottom to help balance the cane and keep it lighter also. Make's a big difference on control. I wish they would use a fiber washer instead of a heavy metal one but every one uses a heavy metal one. To be fair this is best on a all wood cane. If you have a metal handle you might like a heavy one to balance it.

I finally needed to change my original cane tip that lasted almost two years, and after just SIX WEEKS this replacement tip is falling apart!

Definitely NOT worth the purchase price. Where can I get a HEAVY DUTY cane tip?

Affordable, Sturdy, and Bright & Shiny Black Colored

I was simply looking for a suitable replacement for my two cane tips, and these tips do an excellent job. I had to measure the tip end of both my canes, and these tips were big enough in their diameters. They are nice and bright in black color unlike my previous work tips. The price was affordable for me also.

I measured my cane before ordering. They arrived and did not fit. Also could not return. Denoted to Charity. They need to fit sizes that they offer the product for.

This 7/8 inch cane tip is universal and functional. Replacing a worn tip is easy and you feel the difference right away when using it. The rubber is quite viable and grips surfaces easily. Has a bold appearance that bespeaks strength.

Worked as intended and kept the end of my cane from taking damage and gave it good grip.
