Actually, I'm not forgetful, I just have anxiety about forgetting things/losing things. There is plenty of space in this surprisingly sturdy organizer for a big ring of keys, my simple cellphone and slim, travel-style wallet. If you organized it a bit differently, it would have space for more, or bigger items. I'm not sure about the hinged hook -- I don't use it. However, the product seems solid to me.

If you swing the door too hard it will fly off but I love that everything you need to remember the next day can be stuffed in to remind you as you head out for the day/night.

It's always a challenge to find a gift that is more unusual (or novel) and useful as well. This is one that everyone can use, The only downside is that the hook for keys is more of a latch - a hook would probably be better because it would be easier to take on or off. But overall, a great gift.

Hi. I imagine that this is a great little item, but the company from whom I was supposed to receive it sent me Cedar Power Spray instead. I'm not kidding! I'm hoping to rectify the situation on Monday. (I rated the item with one star because I wasn't able to leave all of the stars blank.)

This organizer is very usable, handy, a great conversation piece and great colors. I have mine hanging beside my front door and put my keyring on the hook which holds my organizer. Letters to be mailed, shopping lists and notes are kept in the organizer. I've also purchased one for a gift which was well received and is hanging beside her wall phone in the kitchen. Great item and an inexpensive gift.

This is a beautiful high-quality door organizer. It may not look it but it is sturdy and holds a good amount! However, I don't use it much to hold my items anymore because I find it hard to retrieve when they are buried inside the pocket. And the pockets are all different sizes. I do, however, use it to hold my markers that I often use to write in the mirror next to the door it hangs on. That has proven to work out really well. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is gorgeous and even if you don't use it, it adds character and color to the room :)

Pros:
-aesthetically pleasing
-deep pockets
-compact (bring anywhere)

Cons:
-not made for bulky items
-smaller items can get "lost" inside the deep pockets
-keychain holder attached to it is more annoying than functional

I bought this for a forgetful family member, to help leave the house with all the items he'd needs to run errands. I Skyped at the weekend for a chat. Looking over his shoulder I was delighted to see it was already primed with his next set of errand. Mail, keys, wallet, pen, notepad attached. He just lit up when I asked him if he was finding it as useful as I'd hoped. He loves it. Many thanks to the designer. Such a simple idea but so incredibly useful.

Got two of these as gifts for people looking to be more organized. The red is attractive, and the stitching and embroidery is well done. Bendable without being too flimsy, but the pockets are limited to light, flat objects. I don't know if I'd try putting a large handful of keys on the hanger, either. But it's a neat, compact organizational tool.

Very smart product. I wish I'd thought of it myself! I can remember my own keys, but when I want to leave something for my husband, or if I want to make sure I actually bring the grocery list with me to the store this time...this comes in very handy. Great for credit cards, grocery list, keys or letters that need to be mailed. I bought a bunch for gifts too.
