I purchased this clock thinking that the style was unique and because I liked the bright colors. When the clock arrived, I found that it was made of cardboard (which is not mentioned anywhere on the detail page) and the blue and yellow books were dented. The back of the clock, which is also made of cardboard, also comes right off. This is an incredibly low quality product.

When I contacted the Seller (Worldfashion Gifts INC.) to make a return, it took them four days to get back to me. They stated in their first email that they had sent me several messages and were trying to help me. I checked my spam folder and there was nothing from them, so I can only assume that this was actually their first attempt to contact me. Not to mention, there were no instructions in the email as to how to return my item. I replied to their email asking for a return address or label, and they responded back offering to refund half the purchase price right away, and still did not provide the return information. I informed them that I was not interested in negotiating alternate terms and that I needed them to send me the information on how I could return the clock. They finally responded saying that they authorized the return, but that it could take months to arrive back to them and that I shouldn't be expecting a refund any time soon. This was not the end of it! Although they now agreed to authorize the return, they still had not sent me any information as to how to go about sending back the clock! I asked for the information again, and they responded, "Ok, friend, we had already approved your return request, you can get the return address at that page. Thank you for your communication." I had no idea what "that page" meant and I couldn't find anything on the order page on Amazon so I called Amazon Customer Service. Come to find out, they had not given Amazon any of the return information, so as of now, Amazon is trying to contact them.

Luckily, Amazon is such a customer-centric company that if they don't get a response from the Seller, Amazon will eat the cost and refund me the price of the clock themselves. I will never order from Worldfashion Gifts INC. again and I recommend you don't either. The quality of the product won't be what you're expecting because they leave out key details on the detail page, and if you want to return the item, good luck!

This time keeping mess is constructed of cardboard...and not very well. It reminds me of a grade school project for children..." look Mommy, we made a clock in art class." I especially like the wrinkles in the clock I received; it really gives it that, made in grade school authenticity. The battery is difficult to change, so I hope you have patience. Garbage!

Product packaged too poorly for wimpy cardboard product

Terrible product. Arrived completely destroyed. Both inner and outer package were destroyed as well as the cardboard clock. couldn't even tell what it was at first it had been so long ago that I had ordered it.

Don't Buy!

Extremely dissapointed in the product. Had to wait nearly a month for it to ship to me and when it arrived it was in a damaged box. The item itself is nothing but carboard glued together and you can see the glue visibly in many areas. Outer two books are also visibly dented. The picture shown for this item is not accurate, there is no third hand and the words read BookClock instead which makes it look even cheaper. Very unhappy with the product and would not recommend to anyone.

Great buy. It looks like it is stronger material but is really made out of carboard, but still it is works well and looks nicer. It ships from China and arrived broken, but I fixed it with a glue gun. Overall good buy with a few hesitations that didn't bother me.

Mine came broken, and being stubborn I decided to try and fix it rather than return it. I got it working, but it is still flimsy and easily disrupted from keeping any sort of correct time. I may paint it to blend in more with real books, and hopefully make it look a little less cheap.

I choose this rating because the clock did not work. It was a good thing that someone handy was able to fix it.

Do to this, I would NOT recommend it to any one else to purchase.

The colors however are vibrant, and that I like.
