Oenophilia Porto Sippers are guaranteed conversation pieces! These hand-blown serving glasses date back to 17th century Europe, where they were known as Schnapps Pfeiffen. The design of these glasses allows the wine to be sucked from the bottom of the glass, ensuring that oxygen doesn’t come in contact with the majority of the liquid, effectively reducing the oxidation of the wine. These small glasses are meant to be held in the palm of your hand, so the wine is slightly warmed and delivered to the correct place on your tongue. I need to learn my measurements better, and pay close attention to what I am reading. Evidentally I was expecting...perhaps full size. I'm still cracking up about this order. They Are SOOOO Tiny but CUTE!!! This is what you would use if you are stingy at sharing. They're too fragile for the young family members, and too small for the grownups. I guess I will just keep them around for a conversation piece.

LOVE EVERYTHING about these port glasses. Size is perfect!! And styling is incredibly sensational. It is a GREAT bar addition in glassware!! As for delicateness, they have some but hey, look at them. They are worth....just take your time cleaning them. It's not that bad at all.

A twelve-second conversation piece. Cute, very fragile and must be handled with care. better stored in the original box. BUT they allow gentle sipping of a good port, it will not make a bad port taste better, and that is what is expected. I wonder how many will survive Chritmas...

These are cute, but THEY ARE TINY!!! Not much bigger than a shot glass! I am glad I got them when the price was low....I would not have been happy to pay much more than I did for them. They are a novelty really.

Perfect for port lovers

Bought as a gift for the hubby and he loves them. He and my Uncle enjoy port immensely and this has only added to their pleasure in sipping it slowly. They are truly delicate and hand washable only. One has broken but we expected that to happen. Tiny as well, they will fit in the cup of your hand. They both say that the port has a totally different taste drinking it through the straw, and then another different taste when they get to the end and sip the last bit which bubbles through the straw and aerates it.

Buy these for the port lover in your life, they will not be disappointed!

Not awesome. They are not all shaped the same and some of them can barely get liquid through the straw... easily breakable and not worth. Also they are shaped like a champagne flute and not a wine glass.

These were adorable! They are statement pieces as well as great glasses for any drink, preferably wine. The ladies I presented these glasses to had loved them and wanted to show them off to everyone. They are easy to clean and are pretty stable to set anywhere. It even makes drinking your favorite wine fun and exciting.

These are SUPER COOL and VERY unique!! Love them! I have received many comments on these! I often use to make after-dinner aperitif's. They are a conversation piece so I almost wanted to keep a secret where I got them as to keep them unique to me, but can't help but recommend to others and also give as an interesting present. Thank you for this product! I've been meaning to see if there are more items where these originated from.
