Almost an adequate toaster

Have been disappointed w/this overpriced poor toaster (you are buying the brand name with this one). 1st, the lights beside the setting buttons do NOT work on either side at all (never have, straight out of the box). 2nd, it's almost impossible to reach a proper setting between BURNT BLACK toast & under toasted, no matter how many times you reset the darkness knob (use it daily and try every single day). Also the darkness knob is VERY easily moved, if only slightly touched. Am also unhappy with the dirty look of the polished chrome... It shows absolutely EVERYTHING (every fingerprint, crumb, speck of dust, etc). Altho I wipe it down daily, I keep the ugly nasty looking thing covered. The only redeeming feature of this toaster is it's ability to lift your toast an extra inch or so out of the toaster. That feature allows you to be able to pick up hot toast without having to stick your fingers inside the toaster to retrieve your it. Would not recommend it to others.

Don't buy this one, TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE - did not last before it started showing signs of UNEVEN toasting - still using but will NEVER buy again.. have to look for something else. Used for about a year and half... setting are not reliable... refuse to buy another. Lived with it for this time as did not believe in purchasing something else until it just stopped working... TODAY is the day August 2017 to January 2019 - Absolutely Terrible... It had good reviews, recommended by different websites, but never made the grade

Better than most

Good: The first few rounds of toast came out rather uneven, but it's now settled down and toasting consistently and predictably. Wide browning range... possibly too wide; see below. Levers let you lift the toast edge well clear of the top, no chance of burning yourself with reasonable care.

Bad: Browning dial goes all the way from barely-warm to smoke-alarm-triggering burnt, has a rather narrow useful range. Defrost button does nothing that I can discern; you get toast whether the button is pressed or not, or whether the bread is frozen or not.

Ugly: Nothing; an attractive appliance.

Bottom line: On the evidence, it is surprisingly hard to engineer a toaster that consistently delivers evenly browned toast. This one isn't perfect but does the job better than most, including my last one which cost $20 more. Four stars.

Not worth the money

Pros: fast results, compact size,looks good. Cons: bread is DARK brown on one side and not toasted at all on the other. I've had this toaster a week and thought I just had to get used to it but it just does a terrible job. Definitely not worth the price. Replaced a 9 year old Waring model that's been discontinued and can't afford the new Warings. No matter what setting it's on or what slot you put the bread in the end result is the same, burnt or raw. I use my toaster every day so now I have to stand over it, pop it up to check it and then flip the bread over to get a piece of toast. Not what I wanted in a new $59 toaster.

Yes, this will toast your bread, muffins, and waffles. It's a toaster. It's not the most expensive, nor the cheapest, but it is may be one of the cutest. I could not find this color in any store locally. There really aren't any bells and whistles. I think the really expensive ones from William Sonoma, probably pop your toast out buttered. This won't. It just toasts your bread. Because it's a toaster.

I was really disappointed with this toaster and returned it. It just feels cheap. The levers would not stay down without forcefully pushing and holding them down. They felt like they would break off any moment. Another huge problem for me was that it gets covered in fingerprint smudges so easily. Even if I tried to keep it clean, it always looks dirty.

Very attractive toaster but pretty useless. Toasts so unevenly that I end up trimming and discarding a portion. Also one side over toasted while other side not done. Sad

Original burn in is atrocious smell. Advise outside for burn in. Run several cycles and air unit before inside house use.

I love the look of this product. It worked for a month but then stopped working. Now, It will work as long as I'm the one holding the levers down the entire time that the bread is inside the toaster.

Works good so far, but my problem with this toasters it's the low quality. It's built cheesy and made thin in my opining. I thought it was made out of paper. WOW!
