Good quality furniture piece

shipping was fast. The product is a very nice quality piece of furniture that fits right in with the rest in my home. It is sturdy, I put my big screen TV on top of it and you would never know that there was a litter box in it. It was worth the money.

Not well engineered for the price

I literally just finished putting this together and have to say I'm unimpressed so far. The pieces all look nice coming out of the box and the instructions are straight-forward. But as I tried to assemble it I found a few holes not drilled, and the rubber bumpers for the doors missing. The doors and top tray are truly bad design. First the hinges on one door are badly aligned such that when shut it doesn't close flush with the outside edge. The doors themselves are cut so large that they run into each other. They do close properly when gently forced, but its an extremely tight fit. This also leads to a problem with the top drawer. The outward facing panel is so large (for no obvious reason) that it has to squeeze past the doors to push it in, then once it's clear the doors relax back inward and serve to block the upper drawer from being pulled out again. So you have to pull on it while pushing the doors outward... and the horrible squeal as you are pulling it out is extremely off-putting. Why did they have to cut the pieces so large making them tight? It's rendered the drawer practically useless from the get-go. I haven't even see yet if my cat will like it. Cheap, cheap, cheap! I purchased Sauder particle-board furniture in my youth that was better designed than this for 1/2 the cost.
