Product Description

Crocodile Isle Water Park

Crocodile Isle Water Park

The wildly popular Crocodile Isle Water Park brings the thrill of the jungle to your backyard. Kids love the vibrantly colored crocodile theme, while parents love the quality, durability, and safety.

Your kids can rappel up the climbing wall to reach a lookout platform where they can lounge about or zoom down the tail or the snout of the crocodile. Overhead sprayers rain down on each of these two curving slides for cool, wet fun as your kids zip down into the splash pool below. Add the optional play balls for even more fun. Kids have a blast and stay cool for hours as they climb, slide, race, and splash.

Crocodile Isle Water Park with play balls

You will love the Crocodile Isle as much as your kids will! Why? Besides being entertained for hours, your children will burn up that extra energy in a healthy way, getting lots of exercise while they play safely. Kids do not have to exit the play area to climb the slide, meaning less grass and debris in the water park. It’s large enough to accommodate up to six kids at once with room to spare.

Set-up is a snap using the UL listed blower (included) that literally inflates the water park in minutes. Attach the water tube, hook up your hose and you are all set for fun. Built-in flow restriction helps minimize water use.

The rugged Crocodile Isle Water Park is constructed according to Blast Zone’s strict quality and safety standards, using double and quadruple stitched, reinforced polyester oxford. Commercial-grade vinyl is used on the climbing and slide surfaces, adding extra strength and longer life to the unit. As with all our products, the Crocodile Isle comes with Blast Zone’s industry-leading warranty and customer support.

How It Works

Constant Air Technology

Blast Zone Inflatables operate on "Constant Airflow." Air is continuously fed from an electrically powered blower into the inflatable, and escapes through the seams in the material.

This process allows for a much stronger inflatable that is able to support substantial activity, without over-inflating or deflating.

Never Fear. Hearing air escaping, and seeing bubbles in the water is all part of the process!

Garden Hose? Ready to Roll

Blast Zone inflatable Water Slides and Water Parks include a sprayer system that attaches to a standard garden hose, which slowly and constantly feeds the sprayer system.

To adjust the water flow, just adjust your spigot. You need very little water flow to lubricate the slides.

Blast Zone Splash areas are not "pools" in the strict sense. For the safety of our little players, Blast Zone Splash Areas have water outlets, to retain just enough water to splash around, without creating any risks.

Easy Setup

Blast Zone Inflatables Set up in minutes, and store relatively easily. The inflatable unit rolls up to about the size of a medium to large sleeping bag.

Most of our inflatable toys ship via UPS or FedEx in one box that includes everything.

To set up the bouncer, just unroll it, hook the inflation tube to the blower, turn on the blower and stake it down.

Quality

Blast Zone takes pride in manufacturing the highest quality inflatables in the industry, and backing them with the best warranty.

Blast Zone Home Use inflatables utilize Commercial-Grade Vinyl Bounce and Slide Surfaces, and are assembled utilizing double and quadruple heavy-duty stitching.

Award-winning designs. Focus on Safety. Stellar Customer service. Blast Zone is your most exciting option for inflatable fun!

My 2 year old and 3 year old absolutely love this thing
by Allen Drennan (5 out of 5 stars)

My 2 year old and 3 year old absolutely love this thing. It's hard to put it away for any period of time because they demand I set it up again. Countless hours of fun for the kiddos that wears them out! The many reviewers here have covered most of the details, so I won't repeat all the pros and cons. I will say that setting it up is easy but breaking it down took some practice. As others suggested, turn of the blower, let it drain and then re inflate it. Then I flip it over and let it dry in the sun. Once dry, I flip it back over and let it expel the air for a few hours, then I fold it into 2 feet wide rows and roll it like a sleeping bag, usually twice before its small enough to go back into the bag. That's the only advice I can offer about it. Otherwise it's a big winner and well made.

Wish I would have purchased sooner!
by Amazon Customer (4 out of 5 stars)

I had saved this inflatable on my Amazon list for at least a year. I would read the reviews and watch the fun videos and stare at the pictures and imagine how much fun my kids would have on this. The price tag and the sheer size of the inflatable always made me nervous. This summer I finally clicked BUY....and it was WORTH it!

This inflatable arrived in a few days, neatly packed in a large box. It took only a few minutes to fully inflate and the kids spent HOURS playing on it every day for a week. This thing is a kid magnet. We had the entire neighborhood at our house playing on it at various times. My only regret was not buying this sooner. Pricing wise, it was cheaper (about $50) in the spring than in the summer.

Pros:

KIDS will love it. My 2 yr old wore himself out climbing and sliding. In my opinion, the best ages for this are 2-10. 10+ could be pushing the limits of the slide. We had an 11 yr old fall off the slide this year, but she was playing rough.

Easy to setup - spread it out, attached ground stakes, plug in blower (regular 110 outlet), turn on water to waterfall.

Comes with large carrying bag; although this thing is heavy and very bulky.

Cons:

Definitely a chore to clean up/take down. We usually leave it up for 2-3 days and then drain it, re-inflate it to dry out in the sun and then eventually roll it back into the large bag it comes with.

Mold/Mildew - you really have to let it air dry. Water will get behind the stitching, so there will be mold regardless. We apply mildew/mold cleaner as part of the take down process.

2nd Blast Zone product...excellent quality and durability!
by Aria M (5 out of 5 stars)

So this is HUGE and heavy! Heavy duty as well! Takes a while to fill up the wading/reservoir area but it was well worth it. The kids played for about 2.5 hours and didn't seem to get bored. It was definitely a chore to empty and dry throughly. I read tons and tons of reviews and just did as most people did, taking snippets of ideas as I saw fit. I also purchased the rolling box (as another reviewer suggested) to get it out of my garage and transport it easily to the backyard. Soooo glad I did. The easier it is to get out and set up, the more apt I am to let the kids use it. Next time I'm making them share in putting this beast away. If this gets less than a handful of uses, it will have paid for itself, in terms of renting one. I have had excellent experience with Blast Zone products, as I previously purchased the Monster Truck Rock Crawler bounce house/ball pit, and my kids (ages 8 and 6 now) have had that for 5-6 years, using it at least once or twice a year for parties. Soooo....Blast Zone is definitely built to last.

Great purchase!
by CP (5 out of 5 stars)

Purchased one week ago so boys had something fun to do at home for friends to also enjoy. Getting it out of the box was hardest part as I'm 32 weeks pregnant but set up and take down for each use has been surprisingly easy. Our yard has a slight natural slope which has worked out great when water drains out. I let water drain out then dry out in sun for an hour before inflating again to dry completely as possibly another hour. I leave laid out on lawn for few days in row to use daily. With threat of rain I folded it up and put in wheelbarrow to store under cover on deck until sun back out. It does not fold up as neatly and compact compared to how it arrived but I didn't take time the way we likely will to really flatten it out at end of season. Kids love it and friends who've seen it want to come over and play on it which makes summer activity planning easy for me! Sticker price was hard to swallow but grandma purchased as gift so couldn't turn it down! The quality of fabric and rubberized type material for pool floor all seems very high. Much better made than the other brands I've seen for half price so I'm hoping we will get much more use and life from this for future summers!

Great for many ages.

The kids (up to a 130 lb 11 year old), have loved this, and it's sturdy and well made. The slide parts are vinyl-like, so the kids really slide. I've had others where the slide is the same material as the rest and it's not as nice. It's deep enough to play but not be impossible to drain when you need to. The part that you connect to the blower motor has a stretchy neck so that it clings to the blower more easily. Others I have had you just had to tie tight, and it came off easy. Size is great. I saw a lot of complaints about moving it, but it's not heavy at all. We move it every couple of days to not kill the grass. We cover it with a tarp to prevent damage from the sun. I have not had drying out issues yet, but this Florida sun is brutal, so maybe that's why.

AWESOME Slide!!!
by K (5 out of 5 stars)
June 3, 2019

I don't write reviews often but this slide definitely deserves one. The cost can be hard to swallow at first but it is worth every single penny!

This is our 6th season with this slide. My children love it and have grown up using it. They were very happy and squealed with delight when we got it out for the first time this season. This slide provides HOURS of fun and is a great summertime activity.

This slide is very sturdy, strong, and of great quality. It will last a long time if you take great care of it.

Something to note: if the slide gets put away without being fully dry, it will grow mildew on it. Soap and water take care of the issue though.

Also, due to the permeable nature of the material, water gets into the inner baffolds after a lot of use. When done using the slide, you have to keep the slide inflated, the outlet tube untied, and tilt the entire slide so that water runs out of the outlet tube. If water still remains in the baffolds near the outlet tube, use one of those long water blasters that require the handle to be pulled all the way back to suction in the water. You can then squirt the water onto the ground and continue to suction water out of the outlet tube until most of it is gone. Once most of the water is gone, leave the blower on for an additional hour, with outlet tube still open, to help dry out the internal baffolds. Once that is done, fold and put the slide away.

Setup for the slide is very easy and quick. However, putting the slide away takes about two hours because of water removal and drying out. Even with the additional time to put the slide away, it is worth every penny and all the giggles and fun!

5 stars great for older kids too!!!
by Mom of 4 (5 out of 5 stars)
July 28, 2019

I chose this because it's the biggest one that's still within my price range. My kids are 6, 9, 11 and 12 and ALL FOUR LOVE IT. They play on it forever. My youngest two play on it all day.

This week we had family visiting so there were 8 kids playing on it from 6 years to 14 years old.

And on the days where it's not hot enough for the cold hose water, they keep it dry and just play on it without water.

I wish I had bought one years ago. Seriously.

Also I agree with someone else who said to leave it blown up while it dries. Makes it SO much easier. Also I'm gonna buy the mildew spray because if water is left in it like we did for a couple days, it has a funk smell and needs to be washed. So dont leave water stagnet in it or on it lol.

Buy a rolling heft box!
by Nicole (5 out of 5 stars)
June 21, 2017

It is heavy and a pain to put away so do yourself a favor and buy the 50 gallon husky mobile job box, I got mine at Home Depot for $60 lock the top and roll it away, hopefully it'll keep the mice from getting at it in the shed as well.

The product itself is wonderful my kids love it, I specifically looked at this one because of the two slides and the fact that the steps are in the front, no running behind where I can't see them and no grass constantly getting dragged back in.

Massive Alligator slide
by QueenWims (4 out of 5 stars)
June 18, 2018

This is defiantly massive and the grand kids enjoyed sliding and getting wet or just playing with no water as well. The problems I see is #1 there should be more than just two outlets for air once you are ready to deflate because it does take some time for this to fully deflate it took about 30 mins with constant rolling and pressing the air out of the only two outlets. #2 be informed it takes a lot of water to fill the pool area and once you turn the air off the pool area immediately drains first this was disappointing because although I didn't want to keep the air pump going just because of the constant noise the kids did want to still play and get wet but once I turned the pump off within seconds all the water within the pool area was gone. It took almost 2 hours of running the water from two different hoses and within seconds it was gone. Don't know if they can find a fix for this but they should try. #3 ok keep in mind this thing is massive, I put it up by myself but never will again. I never got it folded back into that sleeping bag shape and it took me a long time to get this thing dried out folded up and put up by myself. I don't suggest you try this by your self. I was dog tired and muscles were extremely sore the next two days. We brought it back out for fathers day and well its still sitting out there and I know I need to get it off the grass but I have to wait for some help. Over all I like it and the kids love it but if I had to do it over again I would buy a smaller one.

YARDZILLA!!!
by TK (5 out of 5 stars)
June 8, 2011

They'd sell more if they called it "Yardzilla". Anyway, that's what we call it, as "Crocodile Isle" doesn't quite roll off the tongue or get us excited about our backyard water park.

So, after one day of use for a little over an hour:

First, the "bad" if you want to call it that. Cons. Let's go with cons:
*Takes a while to fill with water. With the water hose in the pool on full blast, it took about an hour. Forget trying to fill it with the little sprayer things.
*Water WILL get inside of it. It's impossible to keep water out of something that is designed to let air out as well.
*Needs a 'drain' so you can direct the water vs. emptying it where it is... I think I have a solution for it (fish tank drain kit might help divert some water... I hope.)
****EDIT**** It is a pain in the behind to get the water out to store properly. I usually empty it out, let it sit to dry some, flip it over, let it sit over night, flip it back over the next morning, air it back up, let it sit for another hour or two(so the rest of the water inside can dry out, etc) and then deflate it and pack it up.
*The bag it comes with - ***EDIT**** -> The bag is not useless. I've put this thing away twice and got it in the bag both times, just by folding, rolling, and smashing the air out - without help from another person.

Now, the good / great / etc:
*Yardzilla is big. What you see in the picture is what you get. Unlike some other brand's altered pics, this is the real deal.
*It goes up easily. Unpack. Unroll connect blower, turn on blower. It's up in about 2 minutes, maybe less, after turning the air on.
*There's room for about a dozen kids in the pool (which is just under 2 feet deep).
*Fun... I bought this for my 2 boys (ages 5 and 3). They constantly did the "watch this" for the hour and a half or so before dinner. We're having a friendly get together this weekend and we'll be having a bday party in about 8 weeks. I'll repost about durability after that.

TBD:

Durability

As of this writing, I'd recommend it and I'd buy it again, especially if it lasts a couple summers with no major problems.

EDIT -> Week 2: Had 10 kids in it for about four hours for our first Yardzilla Weekend. We made some new friends. One parent saw it and bought it on Amazon within 15 minutes of watching the kids go nuts. About 3 kids started crying when it was time to leave. None of them wanted to leave.

I've bumped the rating up to 5 stars. This thing is a rock star if it doesn't fall apart. Next up is the birthday party...

EDIT2 -> Year later: If you're thinking about getting it, get it. It held up last year, and we've used it again this year, with even more kids (all a year older than last year). This thing wears kids out. I set it up at 10a or so, and by 1p, everyone is ready for a nap. It's still awesome.
