Black print on white (or light) card stock results in any scuff to the edges showing white and possibly making cards identifiable from the back. I had this deck in my hands for only a few minutes before i saw the first mark. Dark card stock would have made this a much better deck. Also note: THIS IS A NON-RETURNABLE ITEM!

Great deck. Its very good however after everyday use, the sides of the card begin to lose the color black and it turns white. The one thing I personally liked about this deck was that how smooth and easy it to fan the deck. Overall, its a good deck besides the color wearing off. You can see it on this picture.

Smooth and silky!

These cards look and handle amazingly. They are smooth enough to glide easily during the deal. The stock and finish allow for the smoothest bridge shuffling experience I've ever had. The black background makes for a slick game-playing experience. I couldn't be happier with these cards!

Note: the deck I received had a 10% promo code which they no longer honored on ellusionist.com. However, they did provide me with a substitute code upon pestering their customer service department.

Cool cards, they look unique and still play with them months after buying. There is just a small difference between the jokers which makes spades difficult when playing with the big and little, but I just colored the one with the hourglass in its hand's scythe blood red and easy fix. I like them a lot.

Standard feel. If I close my eyes I can't tell a difference between a normal deck and these--which is good. The design is very slick. They're a tad bit difficult to get used to with being inverted, but they're more for show and collection

BUT-- The "reveal" on the one Joker is so small as to be barely visible, making it a rather poor climax to a card trick. That isn't why you would buy this deck anyway, though. It looks great, handles like a dream... and the one objection, that the edges tend to chip, is easily solved with a black Sharpie pen if or when it happens. I used a Sharpie on the edges of mine, to make the edges black, and in that form the Haunted Deck becomes almost supernatural when performed with these cards! (If you don't know the Haunted Deck, there are You Tube videos that show and tell that classic trick.) This deck is not gaffed, other than the "reveal" card, but gaffed versions are (or used to be) available.

These cards are super smooth and look very stylish. I have to agree with other reviews and say that the white edges are a bit distracting, but it's not that big an issue for me that they have a white outline. My only real complaint is that the Ace of Spades is cluttered with text about the deck which is sad cause otherwise, it's a perfect deck.

Ok, i have owned these cards since December 2015 or January 2016. I love the overall look of the card,especially the jokers. At first the cards were very slippery , but over time the slipperyness ( if that's a word) has worn off. The cards now shuffle as a standard deck of playing cards with out the air finish. I have noticed that the edges are becoming a little bit frayed but i use these cards on a regular basis. For the price and quality i will rate 4 stars. I am still very happy with my purchase as of today. :-)

I used my hard earned money out my lovely pockets and paid for these cards as advertised on Amazon. This is my honest review. Hope this helps some one.
