Glows Under Black Light.

I purchased these for my preschool age son, as we're doing a bunch of "glow in the dark" activities at the moment.

I was a little concerned when I received these, because the bottle was a translucent yellow/green, and when I held it under the black light, the bottle lit up fluoro green/yellow. The label clearly said blue, but I was dubious and nervous to break the seal, and check the insides, in case I couldn't return it.

HOWEVER, as soon as I opened the bottle, and pulled the bubble wand out, it glowed blue. I blew some bubbles, and sure enough - glow in the dark blue bubbles.

These are perfect, for our activities. However, I wouldn't buy them again as they are VERY expensive, and I've recently learnt I can make my own glow in the dark bubbles using a high lighter soaking in water.

If you are thinking about perchasing these bubbles for whatever reason, just go ahead and complete that transaction! You receive a small but powerful amount of black light bubbles. I have never seen anything like these and they are so fun. They really do glow in the blacklight as pictured. But we took it a step further and used it as body paint!! It was better than the glow in the dark body paint I had bought. I covered my palm with the bubbles and then put my hand print on my boyfriend. You could clearly see my handprint where I left it. So clear that we could even take a picture in the dark and see the glowing paint on our bodies. But as soon as you turned the light on, it disappeared. As if you had nothing on you. It wasn't sticky and didn't stain anything. It washed off easily too. Which is pretty cool if you wash off in the bath tub and bring your blacklight in there. Your tub of water will glow! There are a lot of fun ways to use this product. Just get it! You won't regret it.

I bought these for bath time play. My daughters are 3yrs and 5yrs and they love to have glow in the dark baths. I really didn't like that the bubbles required a lot of up close black light power to really glow. Also, as the bubbles popped they left residue all over my bathroom, tub and children. It was not an easy clean up. I finally had to turn off the black light because I would have kept scrubbing without any progress. Soap did not remove the residue from my children or my bathtub. My daughter was scrubbing herself and got very upset when the bubbles would not wash off. My three year old could have cared less but if you have child that is picky do not purchase this product. I don't think I will be using these again so I have an overpriced bottle of bubbles left. I think I will stick with washable paint and glow sticks.

Glows in the dark, but leaves a mess behind.

Bought this for an event at my house. It definitely glows in the blacklight; however, it stains the surfaces it touches, so if you're planning an event where you're wearing nice clothes, or if your event is taking place in a room you particularly don't want stained, I'd avoid this product. However, if you don't particularly care about the cleanup afterwards, it definitely is an attention-getter.

Be remembered

I bought these to take to warehouse parties and electronic dance music concerts. Most of the time at these spots they really do look like normal bubbles, even when a black light is present. You have to have an almost obnoxious amount of black lights to see them glow blue and very few places have that.

The unfortunate thing about them is they stain your clothes and hands or face or WHATEVER the bubbles touch and it will not come off with just water. So, if you blow bubbles and they pop on someone, they will have a mark visible under the blacklight for the rest of the night. These marks show up much more easily than the bubbles themselves do.

I was disappointed with product as I was expecting much more from this than I got. Bubbles are in fact black light reactive, but just marginally so, even directly under a black light (a double tube 3 feet long fixture). I will keep the product so that the kids can play at blowing bubbles, but would not recommend. Will definitely not buy again.

Awesome Surprise Christmas Gift!

Recipient responded with SUCH ENTHUSIASTIC SURPRISE, DELIGHT and SATISFACTION, I knew I had chosen wisely.
"THESE ARE S-O-O-O AWESOME!"

The ad states "1 oz", but no comment was made about its small size. I was glad the bubbles glowed blue as ad states "Colors May Vary", but they didn't glow as bright as the ad. If this were for a younger child, monitoring or changing distribution would be necessary as the chance of dropping or spilling would end the great fun with great disappointment.

Next time I will order the gallon size instead.

Glow in the dark bubbles!

These were a lot of fun to use during a black light party I had hosted. The bubbles glow in the black light and created a fun atmosphere.

The coloring is not quite blue, but more of a neon yellow. But I didn't care because I was just looking for the effect, not so much a specific color.

I'm mainly writing this review to counter the person that said this did not come with the blowy thingy...or whatever. Mine did. It works good, I mean its kind of expensive for bubbles and pretty small too to add but the solution is fine and glows under uv light.

Fun but only 1 oz

I brought these to "glow in the dark mini-golf" with my niece and nephew and it was really neat! The bubbles were bright and looked really cool. It's only a 1 ounce bottle so it didn't last long. Next time I think I'll try the tonic & soap solution suggested by another reviewer.
