Well I've only used the stovetop toaster once in my conversion van. It worked well on the propane stove though I only made two pieces of toast. Storage is a snap . I recommend for anybody looking to unclutter their space.

Doesn't toast. You're better off toasting your bread with a little butter in a fry-pan. Word to the wise: always read the reviews before you buy.

the shiny surface lasts about 4 uses. then it burns off. but the important point is that it works. it makes real toast fairly quickly on a camp stove. so don't fall in love with the appearence, but focus on the purpose. then this is a fine product.

Rather than have another appliance taking up space on the counter, this toaster does the job. Works very well on a gas stove, and also camping, or outside on the bbq.
