A Couple of Things to Consider

I bought a power strip to fit inside the base. I had to be careful to get a power strip that actually fits inside the base. So yes, if you saw me, I was that weirdo at Wal-Mart trying to fit power strips into a white box. I've been checking and I'm not on People of Wal-Mart site yet.

My phones and tablet all have wall warts (transformers) so once I got everything in the base, it was really cozy. Two phones and one tablet.

I like the way it holds the phones in the grass, but it isn't really deep enough to support my tablet. I still keep the power supply threaded through the grass though.

The only downside is if you use the same cable to synch to your computer, It's a lot of work to un-thread it and re do it again.

It's different

I really liked that this was/is different than all the other charging stations out there. Definitely not an eye sore like the other ones on the market. Problem is, just like a another person said "it's a plastic box, with plastic grass". You have to buy a surge protector in order to hook up all your chargers and reduce the clutter. As for the actual craftsmanship; deifnitely not worth the thirty bucks I paid. I think with some glue and a trip to the local craft store I could make something much better. And so could you.

Decorative and mildly usefull

This product is aesthetically pleasing and adds a touch of modern to a room. While it is annoying that there is no power strip included and normal surge protectors will not fit inside it, it worked well for what I needed. I was able just to run the individual cords out through the back behind my desk and into a surge protector. This method still keeps the cords out of sight. It is so much easier having a space to charge my ipod and phone.

Having the cords run out of the unit and down to the surge protector actually is more usefull for those who want to turn off the unit when not charging. Since the sugre protector is right behind the desk, I can just flick the switch off and on between charges instead of having to remove the grass each time to do the same thing.

Overall, the unit is worth the price just as a decorative piece, but also works to organize cords into one place and provide a stand for charging electronics.

Good product

As mentioned is some other reviews, it is a little tight underneath for all the plugs. You may have to get a little inventive and/or buy a small multiplug adapter with the right orientation to fit the plugs you have. Having said that, it's great. It cleaned up the messy cords and it looks like a planter. Everyone who sees it wants one for themselves. Cool product.

Seems like items should sit easily on grass-like surface but cords fead underneath prevent from sitting right. I think plastic tray is too light weight for to hold items securely.

We like the looks of this product however it could have been built better...the grass comes out very easily and it shouldn't
