Caveat emptor

I bought this for my wife who is an avid walker and sometimes goes at night. It is a great idea. However, it is unbelievable that this product could be rated anything but 0 stars. It is typical cheap Chinese junk. It has the quality of a bowling alley arcade game prize. This would be way over-priced at a dollar. The profit margin for the manufacturer on this thing must be astronomical, The light is so dim I can only imagine 4-year olds using it to make light patters on a wall during sleepovers. Used once and in the trash. I kick myself for paying the insane amount of $17 for this useless toy. The positive reviews have to be planted or they're embarrassed to have been taken like me. Hands down, of the thousands and thousands I've spent on Amazon over the years this is my worst purchased.

Almost perfect ...

Comfortable and light-weight, and the lights work great.

The tweaks that would make it perfect:
1) Move the on/off button further forward, so you don't keep turning on the lights while grasping the handle.
2) Make it just a little wider. I could scarcely get the batteries in, and the cover kept popping off until I duct-taped it.
3) There is a hole through the handle at the back. Put a big metal ring through it so leashes, poop bag dispenser, etc. could be attached to the handle.
(I didn't get the one with the leash built in because I have 3 dogs.)

It's Alright

It's not as bright as I thought it would be. It is very light and I also really like how it shines straight ahead and down at the ground. I got it for walking home at nights, and I would like it to be just a bit brighter, but overall it's okay. I don't use it for walking home because I don't think it's bright enough for that, but when I go in back yard at night to tend to my dogs it helps me see out there as there is no light in the backyard. Overall it's okay.

Product arrived in due time. I love the flashlight, there's no weight and the lighting is just as described. The only things I would like to see upgraded is the battery compartment, make it more secure, it's a little flimsy in how the batteries go in and aren't held in and addenda wrist wrap to the rear of the unit. Can't really do anything with that hand while holding the flashlight. Other than those items, it is an awesome little tool.

Smaller than expected.

I had one of these leashes and I thought I was buying a replacement...but this one is much smaller and must only be suitable for small dogs and not my goldens.

Also, know that the battery does not last very long (so be prepared for frequent changes if you want the light to stay anywhere near light).

I emailed the company to ask about weight restrictions...and got zero response. So back it went...

Unusable - batteries don't fit

This is a light weight and dim flashlight - that I thought would be a nice size and shape for walking at night. IT takes 3 triple A batteries which are too big for the compartment. Unable to close the lid on the battery compartment when the 3 provided batteries are in place. Unusable. I posted pictures of the defect. Amazon gave me an immediate refund without having to return the product. Now using it as a parlor trick for my guests to try to figure out how to put it together :-)

Good at first

Good at first. Then front light only worked sometime. Only used about 10 times. Figured out that the problem was that the battery door wasn't locking. Requested a replacement. Got no response.

I have an older version of this light, and that version has a red blinking light on the back that is awesome. This light doesn't have that, and the quality of this light seems a bit lower. Overall, very bright light, but it didn't meet my expectations.

This is a great little safety product for night-time and

twilight dog walking. We wore out our previous unit after

several years of service. light enough, bright enough.

They changed the design of the battery holder from screw

holders to clip in. Now, if you drop it, the batteries come out.

And, you need a light to find them...

I thought I was ordering a leash/light. My fault though I don't see the point to this light. It really was a waste of money for me.
