Wine Bottle Combination Lock

As the consummate host, you should never turn away an uninvited house guest. But in the event of a guest who makes it their mission to raid your spirit cupboard, we would like to issue you with some standard equipment: the Combination Bottle Lock. Place your bottle of spirit in the puzzle and lock it up. The bottle will then be imprisoned in a seemingly impenetrable fortress. Made from stainless steel you can set your own combination and then simply press into the opened bottle and lock. Only you will know how to unlock it and release the bottle. Packed in a full colour gift box with magnetic flip top lid, it makes a rather snazzy gift, too. Should your drinks cupboard be probed, your last bottle of spirit will remain safe and sound, whilst your thirsty visitor fumes over how to untangle the mess of balls and blocks. If all goes according to plan, they will give up after approximately ten minutes and return home.

This is a very good bottle lock. Easy to use and the lock achieves it's purpose:

The lock will deter someone from getting into the bottle (If you tighten it enough, I have found it to be VERY snug in the bottle. . . and if they do get the lock off - they will not be able to put it back (because the black rubber stopper "swells" out when you lock it - preventing reinsertion).

If you have an alcoholic in the house - this will not keep a determined individual from getting in.

If you have a child in the house - this will insure that you will know if they have tried to get in - the locked lock will be sitting next to the open bottle.

This lock will fit most 0.75L bottles of wine or liquor. It is not large enough to fit larger bottles. Only one bottle I have found it does not work on . . . Johnnie Walker - the inside of the bottle neck has a bulge which pushes the lock out of the bottle when you tighten. Otherwise - I think this is a very affordable security tool.

I ordered 6ea of these bottle locks, upon receipt I figured out how to operate the lock, so then I proceeded o read up on how to change the combo. I moved the lever as it stated, went to change to my desired number, only to discover that the lever had gone back to the original position all on its own, once when I turned the first number, and again when I changed the 2nd or 3rd number. Needless to say I've re-tracked my steps to no avail so the lock stays locked and I can't figure out what number it went wrong ......so 1 lock at $20+ is wasted. I've been very Leary to mess with the other 5.
