I bought 2 of these. One used only a couple of times. Battery was dead and new battery did nothing for it! Wasn't the battery! Second one used a few times more than other but now it won't zero out and I'm not sure it's measuring accurately any longer! Don't waste your money!

This product, overall, is just a great product, but be warned, it cannot cannot cannot go in the dishwasher. Oops. My boyfriend had this measuring cup and I put in the dishwasher. I, honestly, do not know what I was thinking, but when it came out the digital screen was filled with water. He took it apart and tried to let it dry, but it was a no go. I, then learned that it had been a 20-year anniversary gift from his employer, and was so grateful to find the exact same one on Amazon. I "fixed" the measuring cup and learned to never put it in the dishwasher again.

Genius of a scale/cup combo!

I work in a professional kitchen and sometimes scales can become scarce. I purchased this for the scale and also for the 4-cup capacity. I have tested this to ensure the measurements are accurate and they are. The only drawback is the handle can be hard to read at times. I highly recommend this for professionals and home cooks.

This measuring cup is perfect for cooking, of course, and for soapmaking and, I'm certain, for a myriad of other uses. It translates measurements to/from US Customary, Imperial, and International. Can be zeroed out after the addition of each recipe element. The cup portion is microwave and dishwasher safe.

Best thing ever!!!!!! No need to guess. Measurement is so perfect. Recommend for regular everyday people, and for professional or semi professional cooks they love it. It is worth the price between the weight and measure makes cooking and baking easier.

What makes this such a great helpmate is that you can measure ALL your ingredents as you go along in one "bowl". No need to get out several measuring cups which have to wash out before it is used for the next ingredent. The cup clear so ingredents are visable. Another great Taylor product. Great Christmas gift to your favorite cooks.

This item would be great; however, it seems to be broken. Have only used it a few times and now the battery died. Replaced battery 2x and it still won't work. Now it's over 30 days and I can't return it.

If you're a baker you know that weighing ingredients is much more accurate than using cups and spoons. I've also been seeing more and more recipes where ingredient amounts are given by weight. This digital measuring cup and scale is perfect for that. The instructions are easy to follow and my results were delicious.
