WONDERFUL ALL PURPOSE PEANUT BUTTER POWDER

The website gives wonderful recipes for this product and it works great in all types of cooking and baking. I am very happy with the results that I have achieved with this powder and it also is a great topping for waffles, oatmeal, smoothies, etc. I intend to try all the flavors. It is much better for my purposes than keeping a jar of peanut butter around and I hope this is not discontinued.

All the Flavor but Far Fewer Calories and Fat!

Oh my gosh! Who could have known that peanut butter could be made with powder? I LOVE peanut butter but avoid eating it due to the calories and fat. This stuff is amazing! Add a little water, make a paste, and voila! You have peanut butter that tastes great! I'm hooked for life now! It works great in smoothies but I like to spread it on toast. YUM!

Best Powdered PB

PB2 has been a staple for me for a few years now. It's hands down my favorite powdered peanut butter. It just has better flavor than others I've tried. I've seen PB2 painted as a bad choice because there is added sugar, but it's so minimal and worth it for the better taste. Still only 45 cal for 2 tbs compared to 200! Other brands are very bland.

I use PB2 in a lot of things, from a traditional peanut butter substitute to baking. It's great mixed with cinnamon. My favorite thing to do with it is make a Thai peanut-inspired sauce by combining it (after it's been mixed with water to consistency) with Liquid Aminos and Sriracha. Great on stir fry!

Oh, wow... I love it!

Okay... I just got my Amazon order today and this was one of the items. Of course, I just had to try this stuff immediately, so I put 3 tablespoons into a bowl and tasted a little bit of the unreconstituted powder. Interesting. The taste is extra 'peanutty' and reminded me of something. The filling in Reese's Peanut Butter Cups? Yeah, but that's not it exactly. I dribbled enough water into the powder to make something resembling the consistency of regular peanut butter and tasted it again. Definitely more peanutty than regular peanut butter, in fact it's even more peanutty than the roasted peanuts in a can or jar. This stuff was giving me a sense memory, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was. Another taste, then...that's it! This stuff reminds me of the roasted peanuts in the shell that we used to buy at a roadside stand when I was a kid! All that's missing is the smell of the peanuts actually in the process of roasting. This is definitely going to be my peanut butter of choice from here on out and I'll be dong some experimenting to substitute it for regular peanut butter in recipes.

The only suggestion I would make would be to make a different style available that adds in a slightly coarser grind to the powder so that the feel in the mouth is not quite so pasty for those who prefer the consistency of regular peanut butter. That said, this very powdery stuff is going to make a killer Thai style peanut sauce and dressing!

Must Be For Another's Tastebuds

I've ate about every brand of peanut butter there is and my favorite has been all natural organic though it was infrequent how often I made an effort to stop and get that. I followed the instructions using tap, purified and distilled water and it taste to me like it had to be close to dung no matter what water I used. Well maybe not that bad but it was barely reminiscent of peanuts let alone peanut butter.

Great for those on Weight Watchers!

I was actually surprised that I liked this stuff. I'm on Weight Watchers, and kept seeing this stuff pop up on various recipes so I thought I'd give it a try. I was expecting it to be nasty, but it actually tastes pretty good! It doesn't taste as good as real peanut butter of course, but the calories you save by using this stuff is tremendous.

We love PB2 in my house
by Kristi Lupkey (5 out of 5 stars)

We love PB2 in my house. I watch my calories but I love peanut butter, this is the only way I've been able to work peanut butter into my low-calorie diet. Does it taste exactly like PB? Not quite, but it is close enough for me. I also use it for baking and smoothies as well as for sandwiches. Best texture of any of the powdered peanut butters.

Best healthy take on peanut butter
by Buneeb (5 out of 5 stars)
July 24, 2018

Still my go-to for a healthier take on peanut butter. I've been using this in both savory and sweet dishes and treats, from cold sesame noodles with Thai peanut sauce to a peanut-butter drizzle on my low-fat ice cream. Even in a PB&J sandwich this is great, as it offsets the over-sweetness of most jams/jellies. I would just like this to be a bit more affordable.

Yummy, 85-90% fat free peanut butter.
by Dr. Art (5 out of 5 stars)

Super healthy, extremely low fat, great tasting, yummy real peanut butter.

I have been eating PB 2 for over 5 years. It was recommended by my Weight Watchers Instructor.

This stuff totally rocks...One small caveat. After mixing with water, and placing in fridge, try to consume within
2-3 days. Only mix as much peanut butter powder with water as you think you will use in a 2-3 day period.

After mixing with water, even when in refrigerator, the taste deteriorates after 3 days. If you adhere to this simple principle, you will be golden. Try it and see...if you are a true peanut butter lover, but cannot afford high amounts of fat in your diet, after trying this product, you will never go back to regular peanut butter again.

Ty it - it is GREAT STUFF
by ThePlushGourmet (5 out of 5 stars)

OMG what a surprise! I ordered it to sprinkle on our dog's dinner to help get him eating after an attack of pancreatitis. He could have no fat or grease and he loves peanut butter. I thought it might work. It surely does. But the surprise was on me! I tried mixing some with a little warm water, got the consistency right an was prepared for a fakey powdery taste but nooooo - it was GREAT! Now our daughter who has no gall bladder and can have no fat can have that real peanut butter taste she loves. Try it!
