Safe Toddler Pirate Sword

This is a great pirate sword for a toddler. These are well made and I have had a few that have held up to heavy play for 2 years now. They are sturdy, soft enough avoid damage, and a good size for a toddler. We purchased two and sword fight with the kids a lot with no quality issues.

You will receive either a blue or a red handle sword at random. There is no other difference except the handle color. Our did not come with the colored wrap around the handle, just solid black.

Fun with my granddaughter. These have stood up to some rough housing. I wouldn't count on them being a longevity toy though . They are pretty sturdy for what they are. If your youngster really starts getting his pirate on then they won't last long. I'd definitely get these again once our current set becomes non-mission ready. These are safer then the wooden swords my son and I used to play with. Nothing like swollen knuckes and suppressed curse words, good times!

This was great for my sons costume. He still plays with it and it's not hard plastic so it doesn't hurt when he pretends to stab me or anything else lol not rough but still, hard plastic is rough on its own. So these are really nice

We got these for Christmas. It's almost May now and they are in perfect condition other than dirty. They don't bend or warp and I have a 5-year-old whose sole purpose in life is to give all his toys the gorilla Samsonite test (you won't get that if you are younger than me). He stands outside and whacks at our oak trees for hours. It's hard to find a toy that stands up to my youngest, but this one is giving him a run for his money.

Good fun for kids that are beyond the "put everything in the mouth" phase. Not for households with younger kids; my 2 year old had chewed the bottom cap off and had dismantled the handguard within 5 minutes of this toy entering our home. My kids still have fun whacking each other with it and it is much softer than our broom and mop handles. So far there have been no injuries beyond some slight bruising (mostly from tripping while chasing each other).

This sword will be perfect for my 3-year-old's pirate costume on Halloween! Glad I bought two though because both my kids (3 and 5) have been playing with them daily. I received one red and one blue, and they were both in great condition on arrival.

This was part of a "Pirate" kit I sent my 4 grandsons for Christmas. imagine Skyping with them on Christmas to discover the joy they had sword fighting amongst the boys and seeing their mom sitting on the couch with the fourth sword playing with them. They don't look very sturdy but they hold out great.

Great for the price. The blades are thick--1/2 inch. It is a dense, smooth foam--not the soft kind that bends easily. The ones we purchased have not bent at all through hours of play. Handle is re-inforced. Safe--no sharp edges. They hold up well under lots of abuse from a 3-year-old "pirate" grandson. Just the right size for for 3-6 year olds.

Sturdy, look good. Great with any kids Halloween costume! or to play at home. The foam is soft enough to never hurt and sturdy enough to hold up well, it has lasted 3 months in our home with intermittent rough play and still looks good.

Great costume, prop, or toy. I bought this for my daughter for her Halloween costume and she had so much fun with it. Well made, especially for the price. We will keep it around for dress up!
