I ordered this product earlier this year. We did not open our swimming pool until this past weekend. I inflated this aqua sofa straight out of the box and put it in the pool to use the next day. The next day the entire back of the sofa was deflated. I inflated it again and that afternoon it was deflated. So, I can say it was pure junk straight out of the box and now its too late for me to return it. If this is the kind of product that Solstice sells I will never buy it again nor will I recommend it to all of my pool owning friends. It seems to me that $124. + is a lot to pay for defective merchandise. I guess it's fair enough to say that I am extremely disappointed and cheated because I have thrown $124. plus away.

Bad design doesn't hold air ; pump is worthless with battery ; pump doesn't work with electricity on

I never been able to fully pump this as bad design makes air deflating right away, there's no valve protection so as soon as you remove pump you loose lots of air. Battery pump that comes with it is cheap, stupid, manufactured.

It doesn't work with electricity so don't count on getting higher pressure here it's going to be deflated -

My pool just got finished so I tried and couldn't keep air inside as it keeps loosing so I called company and since I missed their return window of a week they told me they could not do anything but get the manufacturer contact and they refused to get it back for refund only exchange because they know their stuff is poorly designed they are stocked with lots of them refunding people would be a total loss for their business I got it ; don't do my mistake by ordering to solstice !

Initial out-of-box impression was that I would have preferred a pump that plugs into the AC outlet rather that one that is battery operated. Otherwise, the product and packaging arrived as expected. After inflating, it burst at the seam within 15 seconds of it's maiden voyage when my son jumped onto the float in our pool. Thinking it might have been over inflated, we reordered a new one. Expensive lesson learned. The second purchase of the same float arrived one week later with a defect. The large screw valve on the base was deformed and would not seal off on the cap. See attached photo. This one was returned for refund. Recommendation: Do not order this float.

Huge float, but don't let your mom run it over with a rototiller

I purchased this float for my mom as a birthday gift for the pool. She loves large pool floats and I figured I'd spend money and get her a nice big one. The reviews scared me but I took the chance. It came with an excellent pump to fill it up, and this thing is huge. She loves it- as did everyone else who wanted a ride on the "clamshell". I came over to use the pool a few weeks later and I noticed the backrest on the float was deflated. I asked if it got a hole it in and she said yes. When i offered to return it for her and get somethign else, she told me it had a hole in it because she pulled it out from where they were storing it in the garage and ripped it open with the rototiller on accident.

So in other words- I find this to be a very durable float. They patched the hole and even that keeps the backrest up for a few days, but you do have to keep filling it. I would recommend it- just store it in a safe place!

Best pool float ever!!!

Best float we have ever purchased for our pool, Everyone wants a turn floating in it. It holds 2 adults or 1 adult and 2-3 children. Comfortable, soft inside and amazing. It got a hole in it at the end of the season, I thought I would have to purchase another one, but we were able to fix it so its ready for next years pool parties. We would definitely recommend it, as would all our guests!!!

I have purchased this product in the past and loved it but when we purchased our latest Soltice it leaked air and is not functional. We purchased it May 1st but with all the bad weather we had we didn't blow it up until today 6/6/2016 and found that it didn't hold the air. Tried to return but was 5 days shy of the 30 day return policy and have been unable to contact anybody with a resolution. We would be happy to change this review if we could get a replacement.

popped after 1 year absolut garbage,be nice to send a new one,as I got robbed on this one,theat would be the right thing to do as we hardly used it and it had so many holes in it,and we have nothing to put holes in it in our yard,please send us a new one as this one was bad

Was a lot of fun . Just didn't last long enough for me . We had it a Couple years ........It had a leak in the seam so we had to keep pumping it up every three days . So maybe we just got a defected one .

I bought this float last summer , packed it away carefully went to blow it back up this summer and there are tiny holes all over the float, i think you should get more than 1 season out of a more expensive float. Very disappointed !!!!
