Haunted House Worthy

I work in a haunted house and this appliance held up well for the seven nights we were open and survived so well that I've cleaned it and put it into my makeup kit for future use.

I only used the appliance out of this kit. So I can't provide experience with the adhesive or removal solvent (I use medical adhesive for all of my appliances). and a higher quality latex.

With good application, makeup, and a bit of blood it really grossed out not just the customers but other actors as well.

All in all this is ok. There are to major issues with this....1: I had a hard time getting this glued properly. Everytime I got one edge to stick another would come loose. I used it on my shoulder like the picture which is a constant moving body part which makes things difficult. 2: I kind of expected this, the flesh color doesn't match my skin tone so it is quite obvious that it was a fake. Sadly i'm not one who has a bunch of makeup laying around to blend this in. Just things to keep in mind, it would certainly help to have a second person to help apply and also make sure to properly clean/shave the skin area you plan to use this on.

Great prosthetic

I'm a little petite, so this wouldn't fit in my arm, face, or neck; but it worked really well on my side! I added a little makeup and fake blood, but it looked really realistic, compared to some other prosthetics that I've seen.

This fake wound worked great. I would recommend using an old shirt and having the wound displaying through the shirt, thats how i set mine up and it looked very realistic. It also helps to purchase some fake blood and add it to this prop. Overall I was very happy with the end effect.

I dressed as a zombie for Halloween this year. The size was as expected but I think it is more sized to a male arm. I'm a female on the smaller side so it was a bit big for my arm. I instead used it on the side of my neck about halfway across my throat. It was a little difficult to get it to stick with the spirit gum because of the angle but I added some liquid latex around the edges to hold it in place. It worked about very well and looked pretty real since it moved when I turned my head. I also bought the bullet holes and used them at a different time. The quality is good and they were able to be washed so I can reuse them again next Halloween.

very good sculpt with thin edges for the money i felt was less expensive than other brands and was a complete kit with spirit gum and remover with well written nstructions for application. i used prosaide to apply and it stuck all night with no issues as with most of these type things it needs a dressing of other paint and blood to really make it pop but the basic paint is good enough if you are not going for a super high end look

I got great reactions to this! You really do need something more to affix it with, though, and to smooth in the edges. I used additional liquid latex to attach it to my skin, and then spread extra latex around the edges, and covered that with thin toilet paper, and a bit more latex, to give a zombified look to the skin around it. and then added a little paint on top and voila. the scar itself is cool, but alone, it a) may fall off, and b) looks a little out of place - you need to create a bit of context on the skin around it.

Used it on my arm to go with my zombie cop halloween costume. I used liquid latex to glue it on (much easier to remove than the included spirit gum), covered it in stage blood, and it looked amazing. I received a lot of compliments on how realistic it looked.

Ouch!!!! My husband lost a lot of skin and hair trying to remove this.
