So this is like the 5th pair of feet warmers that I own (different than these), because I can't sleep until my feet warm up, and it's a bummer when that's an hour. So when I first wore them to bed, I LOVED how soft they are on the inside, I greatly enjoyed slipping my toesies around just to feel the softness! So the booties seem to warm (have the warming beads) only on the top, not the bottom. So that was a bit of a problem, trying to quickly warm up my toes in bed. But then tonight while working on the computer my feet got cold, so I got ahold of these babies, warmed them up for a minute, and wore them while on the computer. Here is why I give them 5 stars and not 4: With all of my other pairs, they have heating elements on the top AND bottom. But then you can't walk around on them! If I want to get up to get popcorn or a drink, or do anything else, it is very awkward feeling with the others, (all bumpy and you walk weird as your feet are walking on bumps and dips as the 'kernels' or whatever slide all around) and no problem at all with these ones. There is a layer of padding on the inside bottoms, which makes them comfortable to walk on, as well as a plasticky-non-skid black bottom, that is soft and flexible, but not for outdoor use. In the bed, fine, tho. So while they don't heat up the soles of my feet, it does warm up the tops of my tootsies very well, and then of course the underside eventually warms up also. Super nicely made product!

Heavenly!

Just heavenly! Came home from errands yesterday with icicle toes and tried them out for the first time, and just couldn't believe how wonderful they are! I posted a pic on Facebook and already have one friend who is ordering a pair. Possibly the best $20 investment I have ever made!

Wonderful for Chilblains/Raynaud's sufferers!
by Southern California Gal (5 out of 5 stars)
April 19, 2019

My teenage daughter, who is a competitive figure skater, ended up with horrible chilblains and suffers from autoimmune issues, including Raynauds. As a result, she has suffered from very painful, swollen red/purple toes and ulcers over the past couple of years. We have tried several other foot warmers and slippers along the way, but these, by far, have been the best for her needs. She has very poor circulation and her toes and fingertips are always cold. These slippers have helped keep her toes from ulcerating this past winter and keep her much more comfortable. She microwaves them, slips them on over socks (we recommend the ski warmer socks, which hold in warmth to use with these as a base layer, and she likes to have another layer of fuzzy socks on top of the ski socks in colder weather) and she's nice and toasty. As long as she doesn't take them off, the heat stays trapped in the slippers for a long time. She microwaves them between 2-3 times a day and keeps them on whenever she is at home. Over time, they take more time to heat up (they got hot at first with about 30 seconds, but now she's over a minute of microwave time), so we just increase the microwave time to compensate. She's has this pair for almost five months, wears them all day at home, and the sole of one slipper is finally ripping so I'm ordering another pair for her.

As far as people getting burned, I'd highly suggest wearing a pair of socks with them and start on a shorter time in the microwave until you determine how the slippers take to your microwave - some are more powerful and heat faster than others. The rice is at the top of the slippers so you can walk in them in the house. My daughter absolutely loves these and they've helped manage her autoimmune issues. They are very soft, smell nice, and are very comfortable. Highly recommend giving them a try, especially if you suffer from Chilblains and/or Raynauds or you just have poor circulation!

BETTER FOR SMALLER FEET THAT THE REGULAR LOW VERSION!!!!

BETTER FOR SMALLER FEET THAT THE REGULAR LOW VERSION!!!! I have these in the lower regular slipper version and my size 6 1/2/7 women's size feet would slide out often even with socks on. These are much better because they obviously come up around the ankle and grip for a tighter PERFECT fit. I still wear them with socks because they produce a moist heat and since they are NOT machine-washable, I don't want to get the inside sweaty and yucky. They probably won't fit a man. I bought a guy friend of mine the lower regular slipper version in dark brown and he loves them and those fit his rather wide size 10 (men's) feet just fine. I bought 3 more of these for me!!!! Call me a hoarder but I've learned my lesson with products I love getting discontinued without warning. Again, they aren't machine washable so they will get dirty and the beeds/herbs will get beat down after a while---so I have extra on hand to last me for a number of years to come. Also, I personally have learned to walk just fine in these around my apartment. Walking in these isn't as uncomfortable as some might say. They just take a bit of getting accustomed to. I wouldn't suggest going up and down stairs too fast, but use common sense. Also, since these boot version are more snug on me, they're MUCH more stable for walking. Lastly, the HEAT IS HEAVENLY! I WAS a smoker for years and my toes are usually freezing due to obviously some poor circulation. I was constantly running them under warm water while home or trying to haphazardly wrap my feet in a heating pad which was pointless. These are the best invention and have made my frozen feet happy again. They will warm up the coldest of feet in seconds. Try them, you will not be sorry!

I love that the bottoms have microwaveable material and also on top of the feet. They do a wonderful job. I have two ideas how they could be better:
1) If they came in a darker color. I'm a little terrified of how this beautiful cream is going to look in a month.
2) If they were machine washable. Again, I have some terror of one month from now, both look and smell. Lavender only goes so far.

Meanwhile, they did the job really well for me and felt luxurious.

I love these boots

I love these boots! Immediately after getting the box I opened them up and popped them in the microwave. 45 seconds and then my feet were nice and warm. You are able to walk in these, which is nice. The beads that heat up are actually on the top of the foot, it seemed even warmer that way. I wear a women's size six shoe and these fit, a little loosely, so that I can walk in them but if you wear a larger size they'll still be fine.

Nice for cold feet

These are soft and cozy feeling. They are a little bulky due to the seeds on the top and sides, but that's to be expected. I just wish there were seeds on some heat conductor on the bottom as that's where I need the heat applied. If you're looking for some slippers to warm your cold feet they're great. If you have pain and need relief just know the bottoms aren't heated.

So relaxing.

Super weird experience putting these in the microwave for the first time. I have a low wattage microwave so I had to put the boots in for 2 min (according to directions it comes with) and they stay warm for quite some time! I would 12 hours shifts on my feet and they are the ultimate relief when I finally come home.

My cozies
by Frank Pena (4 out of 5 stars)

Love the weighted feeling on the tops of my feet I do not even need to put them in the microwave my feet stayed warm all

night long this was my first nights use.

They are so comfy I just loved the feeling, there is no beads or pellets under the footbed which I'm sure that if they were made that way the wood of hurt.

What I dislike very much and hope they correct .... the bottoms of the cozies

Nothing there feels like a sock bottom

Needs to be some reinforcement a more secure feeling for the bottoms

They are so well made around the entire foot and than to fall short at the bottom : (

No foot bed comfort or secure feeling

Toxic smell!! Had to throw away.
by Misa (1 out of 5 stars)
December 25, 2017

I was skeptical about microwaveable shoes but decided to give it a shot. I did less time than recommended and the least amount of time recommended. By the ~10th time I microwaved them they smelt BAD. My husband and I both decided within 10 minutes they needed to be thrown out because our entire home smelled like a toxic chemical and my hands smelt like the chemicals too from removing the boots from the microwave. I even smelt the shoes to confirm the smell came from them and it was strong & obvious it was coming from them. It said on the box there could be some perspiration but they weren't moist, just smelt like toxins to the max. Would not recommend but can only imagine what we inhaled.
