This is the PRO model. That means that this is actually two pieces. The top part (where the user would plug in their device) is actually a plug converter that can be separated from the rest of the unit. That is what I used when I was in France recently to convert my USA plugs to EU plugs (the devices were dual voltage). Also was able to use the whole unit to convert my USA plugs to UK.

Just be aware that this is NOT a voltage converter. It is simply a compact and well designed plug type converter.

I was looking for an all-in-one plug adapter, after a previous one flimsily broke after single usage and another adapter set had too many different parts. This is the one to get!
- Accepts 2-prong and 3-prong plugs
- Well made
- Tight connection
- I used in both Europe and Australia without issue
- It's larger than your average adapter, but the slight increase in size is well worth it.
- Comes in white!

I paired it with a FlePow 3-Outlet Surge Protector 1250W/10A Mini Travel Power Strip with 3 USB Charging Ports for Iphone, Samsung, iPad and More Smartphone and Tablet and now I have a fabulous setup for traveling overseas. No longer do I need to worry about not having the right adapter.

I purchased the Skross World Travel Adaptor 3 more than five years ago. It is still going strong after trips all over the world. Just purchased another one today. Check the amps. The Skross World Travel Adaptor 3 is rated for 10 amps. The newer Pro versions show a max. load of 6.3 amps. Here is why it matters. You would be limited to charging 3 ipads/iphones using 2.1 amps at 5 volts. With a 10 amp, you can charge those 3 devices plus a MacBook Pro with 3.65 amps. Think about what you're going to be charging and how many amps those devices take.

Solid adapter, worked well

After indepth research I have chosen the SKROSS 3+ Pro adapter for my trip to New Zealand. I wanted an adapter that has a real metal ground plug which this one has. I plugged in an electric water kettle that consumes ca. 600 Watts and has a ground plug as well. Worked well, no complaints. My other devices which I plugged into the SKROSS were a power strip with multiple outlets in order to feed several of my devices from one adapter. I used the SKROSS for about a month in hotels and airports. It seems a bit bulky and may be heavy, however, it is sturdy and you do not have the feel it will fall apart if you touch it. It did not fall out of the wall outlets, although, as mentioned, it is a adapter on the heavier side. SKROSS also offers a version with USB outlets, however, since you have to make the choice between USB or regular device plugs I did not order that one. instead, as mentioned, I bought an international power strip (rated 110 to 250Volt input) that had 3 normal plug outlets and 2 USB outlets and that did the job. Once SKROSS would change the design and offers the adapter with USB and you could use the regular plugs/outlets at the same time, I would buy SKROSS again.

Worked excellently in Africa. I used this with a 1 to 3 splitter attached and it held up very well, even though it stuck out of the wall quite a bit. This had no problem powering a MacBook Pro, while charging multiple other high capacity batteries and devices. Note that this adaptor has a proper ground built in, many of the options that are cheaper than this do not.

I have had some adapters that were so bulky that they'd hang down and sometimes fall out after being plugged in. Though I wouldn't call this adapter thin, I had no problem having it stick to the socket! Its a well made product and I even liked the little cloth bag it comes in. Now they just need to come out with a voltage converter!

Pros: Solid product, not cheap in any way.. I liked the front piece that separates for when you're in Spain or France (very convenient). and Nice cloth carrying bag.

Cons: Though it is nice having the front piece separate for certain countries... it makes it easier to lose that piece (which I did in Spain!! :( And the price of replacing it (including shipping) is equal to the amount of a brand new FULL unit. So make sure you don't lose it!!

Works in Italy

I used this on a recent trip to Italy (it has a 3-prong option for Italy). The only downside is that you can only use 1 plug at a time...In the future, I'll buy a 2nd one (maybe a different one that has USB ports), as all hotel rooms have 2 outlets, so can then charge 2 devices at a time. Note, when you pair this with the Apple power brick, it's long and heavy, and looks like it will fall, but doesn't....

Such a great adapter, super high quality and adapts from any plug type, to any plug type. I have travelled to over 70 countries and used just about every travel plug adapter out there. This is the only one worth getting, I own 5 of them and have convinced dozens of other people to buy these as well... nobody is ever disappointed.

So far we have used this adapter in Switzerland and in London and it has worked perfectly. It is a little bulky but is lightweight so it isn't much of an issue. It is all together so you don't have to worry about losing small parts while traveling.

Most modern power plugs but not all have 110-220 voltage ratings. Make sure to look at each charger you plan to bring with you before you travel.

The only thing better than one of these would be two since you can only charge one thing at a time.

When we were in Heathrow airport they had them for sale at over twice the price.

Excellent travel adapter. I have had this for over 2 years and have used this in Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Bahrain, Germany, USA, Hong Kong and Australia with no problems. Nice size for all the different adapters it contains, and simple to use.
