This is a must have for all guitar players. It's easy to install and looks fantastic on the wall. It's currently holding my heavy Les Paul with no issues. My acoustic guitar looks even better on it. I think I'll buy a couple more of these.

Excellent quality and looks awesome. Sticks out a bit more than I thought though, and I had to build a base stand too since I was worried it could come crashing down if I bumped into the guitar. I wish there was a way to make the hand tighten/lock its grip.

I just love these hands. They look so freaking cool hanging on my wall. I ended up buying wall anchors to mount them instead of using the enclosed mounting kit because my wall studs were not where I wanted to hang the hand.

This was an iffy purchase for me since it's always hard to tell how something actually looks in real life. This was an example of it looking even COOLER! All of my guitars look right at home in this thing and being able to accent an area of my living room with a rotating piece of guitar art is pretty awesome. Plus it has driven me to play more often with it being in a very usable spot.

Post installation pictures drove friends to purchase & guest always point out how cool it looks.

Cons: The anchoring screw is solid enough to actually stay in the wall, so removal might be difficult.

These hands look amazing on the wall, the detail is incredible. Everyone who sees them wants them. We bought four, have had them about a week, and they work great with Gibson headstocks, and larger Fender headstocks like my husband's Jaguar, but my Stratocaster has to be placed very carefully and perfectly or it will slip off (learned this the hard way unfortunately). I love these hands, but I wouldn't recommend them for a guitar with a small, all tuners on one side headstock, and especially not if it gets a lot of use.

EDIT 1/30/15: My right-handed guitar did not fit securely in the left-handed grip - even with very careful placement, it fell out and got pretty banged up. I looked up the info after reading Tony's comment below, and mine is a limited edition stratocaster with an early 60s style headstock, it is a thinner headstock than typical with a less pronounced curve out on the right side, which is surely why it doesn't fit as intended. While I would highly recommend this item - we've been using the other 3 hands for almost 3 years now and still love them, and, as Tony said, they work great for most strat's - I would still warn owners of smaller-than-usual 6-in-line headstocks to use caution (common sense: if it doesn't seem to fit securely, don't leave it hanging there), because looking cool on the wall doesn't make up for the potential damage to your instrument.

We have middle school / high school kids and converted a spare bedroom on the main floor into a teen hangout/music room. We purchased 8 of these to create a Guitar Wall. It turned out FANTASTIC!!! I know how to use a drill, level and other small tools however this was still VERY difficult to install. I would suggest having the assistance of someone who regularly uses power tools to install these so you don't end up with a bunch of holes in the wall. HOWEVER they are worth it!! We get so many compliments on these guitar grips. BTW these grips work on guitars, banjos and ukuleles. Very cool, modern and looks like art on the wall. love it!

So I bought this guitar grip and put it on my wall (drywall) in under five minutes. I used a cordless drill to make a small whole to the specs the packaging said and then I got a wall anchor to support it as well. I manually screwed in the materials the packaging included and in less than 5 minutes it was all set and done. The hand it self is very realistic looking, from the actual grip to the veins popping out, it is very surreal. I hung my fender acoustic guitar and it looks awesome. I highly recommended it to everyone who needs (or wants) a cool looking guitar stand.

This thing was very easy to install. The hardest part of the whole process was finding the stud in the wall. It looks great and holds the heaviest guitars with ease.

Just finished setting up my teenage son's "man cave" and this was perfect! It's easy to install, but you do need a drill to get it started. It sits perfectly on the wall and holds the guitar well. It has padding where the guitar sits and on the wrist part that goes on the wall. My son loved it, it's a conversation piece and his friends got a big kick out of it. Love the detail on the hand. I will upload some photos so you get a better idea.

I bought this for my boyfriend who has 5 electric and one acoustic currently all on floor stands. He redecorated his sitting room to be his "rock room" and I bought this as a Christmas present. Only 1 since I wasn't sure of the look or quality. I will buy at LEAST 4 more for him. It is very detail, the quality and detail is amazing. The "silver" is a bit more graphite/gray that the picture, but absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. There is a rubber grip on the inside that I wasn't aware of that makes it even better. I can't wait to give it to him.
