It was a big surprise for the family to have Yoda on top of our tree, and they love it. If you are a Star Wars fan, or just a fan of Sci-fi in general, then this is the tree topper for you.

The face and hands of Yoda are surprisingly realistic, and when the room is dark you can see the glow off of his green lightsaber shine on his face and upper body. It's a pretty cool effect.

The five stars are also for the seller. I paid extra for two day shipping. When I received Yoda one of the LEDs in his lightsaber was not working. I contacted the seller, and they overnighted another one to me. They include a return label already in the box, and it was prepaid.

I highly suggest this seller and Master Yoda!

This item is exactly what I was looking for, as I wished to replace a previous Kurt Adler Yoda tree topper that had fallen victim to mold after a mishap with a broken snow globe (note to self: use more wrapping next year). The only thing that I would advise, is to get a better photo of the product. The colors in this photo are all wrong (luckily):

The cloak is more of a sandy color (as it should be) than the white that is portrayed.

Yoda is actually GREEN (not the dark shade he appears to be in this photo).

The inner robe is a nice shade of brown (looks almost black in photo).

The lit up lightsaber is a bright green (as it should be).

I have not had an issue with the electronics becoming hot, or failing (as is the most common issue that seemed to arise in the reviews).

This Christmas tree-topper is awesome! I mean, it is Yoda after all. The green light saber lights up, and overall he's pretty big. I want to say he's almost a foot in length. He makes for a great topper, but the only problem is is that he is top-heavy, and needs some good branch support to hold him in place and keep him from toppling over. The entire bottom is open so you can easily fit multiple branches in there, but because of the large opening, it doesn't fit snuggly on top of the tree at all, so it may take some adjusting of your tree to get him to stay on top. You know Yoda, always jumping around and such.

Love my little guy sitting on top of the tree. I am not a Christmas person, unlike my wife who likes to go all out. Due to our differences, I get little things like a Yoda tree topper to make the holidays a bit more enjoyable.

He seriously looks awesome up there. The lightsaber is bright, the paint is fantastic, and he just looks larger than life sitting up there. He is actually pretty big, maybe a 1/3 scale of the real Yoda.

When Yoda is on the tree, it looks amazing with the lightsaber lit up. The dark side deals with taking him out of the box, the paint, at least on mine, was a little drab and sparse in spots. It looks like it was rushed and for 50+ bucks, I am expecting a pretty decent paint job. All in all, I am pleased, I made a star wars fan happy and made a tree look sexy with all of those Midi-chlorians sitting at the top.

GARBAGE - DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

This product is straight crap! Any good reviews are the lucky ones I guess. The paint is just slopped on and splotchy at best. The light saber is glued in the hilt. The glue detached in shipping and the light saber now slides out of the bottom of the hilt. Also, this thing is battery operated under his robes so with a 6 foot or higher tree requires either a step stool or Kareem Abdul Jabbar to turn it on and off. Why does this not plug into the lights like just about every other tree topper ever made. Its not worth 9 bucks much less almost 90!!!! Will return ASAP.

Lightsaber doesn't glow!

The lightsaber barely lights up. The item description says it takes 3 AAA batteries, however it only takes two. This item is made in China, so they probably downgraded to save a buck. I returned one with the same problem and ordered another, hoping I just got a defective one. Both were the same. The topper itself looks good, but not having a lit up lightsaber vastly reduces the appearance.

This is a lot of fun! Perfect for star wars fans. I got this as a gift for my son to put on top of his Christmas tree. Unfortunately, his tree is too large to provide room at the top for this unique topper. I had to return it.

We went to a pet store and bought a small dog sized Santa hat and added it to him. He looks precious on top of the tree but really needed that addition to not truly look out of place there. The green in the lightsaber plays well with multi-colored tree lights. My fiance loves it.
