It's not often a new product (or new to me) comes along that is kinda like "the best thing since sliced bread". This is the best pistachio snack bowl EVER. We have given it as a gift to a few people who are hard to buy for and it's a big hit every time. And while we're on the subject, when a pistachio is hard to open don't use your fingernails. Use half of a pistachio shell. Maybe everyone knows this but I didn't at the age of 62!

Nice size, pretty design and colors

So far I really like this and I hope it will hold up well. The size is good and it holds enough, for example, cherries for two people to munch on.

Right after I ordered this I was annoyed by the fact that Amazon emailed me offering me similar pieces at considerably lower prices. But you know what? I decided that he price for this wasn't bad and that it was pretty, graceful, and very useful so screw it.

Overall I am pleased with this and I think it would make a good gift.

Great but small

The concept, idea, and functionality of this product is great but this product is really too small to be used with a group or even alone. It holds very few nuts in the main bowl. We end up usually just removing the small bowl and use the larger bottom bowl to hold nuts.

This is pretty cool! It is cheap plastic and I think it would be even more fabulous if it was perhaps ceramic. My boyfriend drives me nuts with 2 bowls constantly on the coffee table, taking up way too much space. With this awesome invention it is sleek, and even a decor piece for the coffee table to always have some pistachios in it and then not seeing the gross empty shells.

A Simple joy to have and use

This solves the problem we're all too familiar with: Where do I put the unsightly shells as I enjoy the ambrosia that is the pistachio? And how do I scoop my modest serving of nuts without fingers? I myself like to internally crack the nut in order to incise the fibrous remainder after the nut is removed. As the shell is wet when I'm done, the discretion the design offers is perfect. You can't appreciate from the picture how nice it feels, how rightly it snaps and how conveniently an cleanly it dishwashes. (about 20 times already) The materials are just the right hardness without being breakable. I've dropped it, empty thank goodness. I'll leave the shells for a few days so that I can limit my consumption. My wife surprised me with this when she noticed I used a double-dish method, and it's just the type of gift that seems initially cluttersome but then becomes as satisfying as the fruit it enables the civilized consumption of, and becomes an an attractive accessory to the large vacuum boxed supply. (For that I recommend a warehouse beginning with C)

This is such a cool bowl. I gave it to my mom for Christmas because she always has pistachios or peanuts on the counter with a second bowl near by for the shells. She absolutely loves this bowl. Many friends have asked where she got it. I have passed out the link to this item to many people! Great product and would purchase again.

This is a great little bowl! I bought this as a gift for my father who loves pistachios. He loves the bowl so much that he often travels with it! This is actually my second purchase of this product since he lost half of the bowl in one of his travels and has been missing owning one. Overall a great product for pistachios - cherries too!

I've purchased several of these now for myself, family and friends. Love them because it is a great way to serve the nuts and have a readily available place for the shells.

I just rinse mine clean and drip dry... periodically I use soap, but mostly a wipe of a paper towel works fine.

These are small... for me they are a single serving. Probably holds a little over a cup of nuts but you control the serving size. I like that you can hold these on your lap and that way you do not get shells (and remnants) all over the place... much neater way to enjoy these great healthy nuts.

I've purchased the "Fiddyment Farms Pistachio Lovers Gourmet Sampler" from Amazon as well and included with the bowl(s) as a gift... everyone loves this combo of bowl and nuts... enjoy!

Very pleased with this purchase. I bought this as a gift for my husband who lives pistachios as a snack. I like that it keeps the shells under the dish and it keeps him from making a mess. Dishwasher safe too!
