Great idea though

Maybe my beer is more bubbly than most??? The carbonation of the beer caused pressure to build up and these just pop off the top.

I tried each one in the package to make sure that it wasn't a fluke. Nope every one of them popped off after about 5 minutes.

Great idea though! I wish they worked.

Keep popping off in the fridge

These keep popping off in the fridge and sometimes they're hard to find, plus your beer then goes flat. I found these others on Amazon called brew stoppers that work much better. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NURK9EM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They never pop off!

THEY DO NOT WORK.

I am a bartender and we make a lot of Moscow mules. The ginger beer that we used comes in regular 12 oz bottles and I purchased these to help keep the leftover ginger beer bubbly. THEY DO NOT STAY ON THE BOTTLE! we tried with beer bottles too. They go on but are not tight and just come right off. I was extremely disappointed with this purchase and I recommend using cling wrap instead. Total waste of money.

These are cute and all, but wont actually do anything to keep your beverage from going flat in the fridge. I found that they were mostly good for keeping a cover on a beverage in a setting where there might be pets around that could knock a beverage over with a wagging tail or feisty paw, or keeping flies from getting at ciders or such in hot weather. And of course, the colors will make it easier to tell which bottle belongs to which person. Overall, they're not a bad purchase.

A total failure
by Dennis Mountains (1 out of 5 stars)

My wife drinks half a beer each evening. Which means every other day I store half a beer overnight in the fridge. I bought these to cap the bottles so that the beer would be fresh and still carbonated the next evening. Every time I've used these, the pressure inside the bottle, due to the carbonation, pops the cap off. For my application, these are totally worthless.

It is as advertised

They work as expected. We frequently buy the extra large bottles of fancier beers to try something new and don't drink the whole thing in one go, so these are perfect. Also good if you happen to have fruit flies, because fruit flies like to taste your beer and sometimes drown in it, so these are a good solution to that problem too. Easy to clean, inexpensive, and enough of them to go around. May or may not fit on other bottle types, haven't tried it yet.

Beer Savers Do Not Save Beer!
by A.J. (1 out of 5 stars)

90% of the time I place the cap on the beer bottle...when I wake up the next day and look in the fridge, the cap had popped off the bottle.

ie, flat beer! If anyone can recommend a top that stays on, that would be helpful.

Not enough holding power
by Shane R. (3 out of 5 stars)

These "Beer Savers - Silicone Rubber Bottle Caps" were cheap enough to try, and they do work for general coverage of the bottle, however the cap literally blew off my bottle of beer several times before I finished the drink. I can see this happening once bottle first opened and then capped, but not when half full 30 minutes later. The cap flew nearly 6 feet across the room and sounded like someone opened a bottle of Champagne. These caps need to fit more snuggly and not blow off.

Great for displaying bottles

I collect beer bottles, specifically the Wootstout bottles from Stone/farking breweries. I use these to replace their original caps so insects and dust don't get inside, and they work great for that.

It looks like some of these reviews are based on the "cork" kind, but the ones I got are like rubber caps that go around the outside. I really like them.

Very handy for big beers!

I put these in my husband's Xmas stocking and he loves them! We haven't tried them for more than a few hours, but they work great for larger bottles of beer or soda that isn't finished in one sitting. I think they'll be perfect for keeping insects out of beverages during summer bbqs.
