Took It On My First Desert Trip This Year - Worked Great

So far it has functioned exactly as it should. Kept four of us cool in the desert on a sunny 95 degree day. The 2 gallon tank lasted a little over 2 hours. The misters are plastic, rather than brass. I will re-post if my opinion changes on future uses.

Update:

Have used it 4 times now. Still works great. Everybody that sees it wants one. Some negatives...
1) repumping must be done frequently
2) as the tanks pressure becomes low, the sprayers drip, which has been messy
3) one of the nozzles broke during transit. It came with 2 extra. I hope getting new nozzles is not the problem that some have wrote about.
4) the pump is getting very squeaky (loud)

The negatives are not that bad yet. I would still recommend it for hot trips with no water supply, and if it broke, I would buy another.

Misting nozzles came cracked

In theory, this should be a great system...just a little pressurized water running through misting nozzles...but this is the real world, not the theoretical world.

Our lacrosse program is playing in 90 - 100 degree heat, so four parents each bought one of these for our team tents thinking it would be a great way to keep parents and players cool. Unfortunately, these units came defective. One of the units was missing the gasket connecting the hose to the tank...we solved that on-site by putting part of a trash bag on the threads creating a seal, only to realize that between the 4 units, only 6 of the 16 plastic misting nozzles for the four units were not cracked when they arrived. We were able to get one unit functioning properly by combining parts from all of the units we purchased, and it worked well. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the other 3. I am going to try to purchase some brass nozzle's, and that should allow the other units to function...hopefully. It sure would be nice if the manufacturer would stop using the cheap plastic nozzles so that these worked out of the box without having to get additional parts.

The box was trashed. Not squished, but obviously in a trailer or on a shelf for a very long time. The box looked like it had been dragged around the block. It was so old and worn. The unit itself does not keep pressure really any longer than the tiny one spray version. 20 minutes or so. Before you have to pump it up again. Once your pressure is gone you have several mister heads dripping water everywhere. This unit may have been used prior to me purchasing it. the unit is giant and I'm not able to use where I wanted to. Unhappy about this purchase.

1st time opening, it leaks from the valve and 2 of the screw on nozzles are cracked (before being screwed on) and they just leak water, no mist. With all these leaks, it does not mist at all. I ordered this months ago, but did not try it out. I am going to try top return it.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Two out of four plastic misters were broken. The segment of hose that goes to the valve was lose and dripping profusely. The quality of the misting heads themselves if VERY POOR. This is a total waste of money. I almost never post negative reviews (check my other reviews) about products but this one is beyond quality issues. I do not recommend this product. The vendor shipped the product as advertised and the product arrived in the promised time.

If you buy this mister and use it on ur canopy, yours is instantly the hot spot!!!! Pun intended..

This is one of those "why didn't we invent this" items that was to good to pass up and it does the trick... for those times when there is a few of you needing to cool off, this thing will and can work anywhere!!! That's the beautiful thing, it's portable as hell and in Arizona this thing make summer fun days actually fun... good length on hoses and everything and in one lil box so it takes up no room at all... kids actually like taking turns on the pump which lasts longer than expected...

Out of the box one nozzle cracked in multple pices. Hose leaked at the joints. I released the hose and reconnected. It slid on further and doesn't leak as of now. Trying to find replacements heads locally is pretty impossible. Product isn't bad but after checking out Lowes and Home Depot for nozzles I am certain I could build the same unit with brass nozzles for the same price maybe a little cheaper. Knowing what I know now I would not have purchased this unit. Company should update the nozzles to metal.

I love this product. My son plays baseball here in Texas and it's so hot outside. This really helped keep the kids cool. I am going to purchase another one as well. I needed one that I could travel with and not a battery operated one or electrical one. The only negatives are you have to put distilled water in it so it doesn't clog the misting spray valves and when the top is sealed you can't use the handle to open it. We broke the handle trying to open it, but just used duck tape to put it back on and use it just for pumping. I would recommend this product if you don't mind NOT being lazy and manually pumping it along with filling it with proper water. I love it, my kids love it, the baseball coaches love it too!

Purchased two of these for a house boat vacation we were taking here in Florida. Fastened the mister to the front rails of the houseboat to make a little misting area. Using two of these misters cooled you off quite a bit. Not exactly as the pictures show with a heavy mist stream coming out of the nozzles but good enough to cool down.

I had to repair both misters out of the box new when the line leading into the turn on valve leaked when I pressurized the tanks. Easy enough to quickly repair with no tools by pushing the line hard into the valve so it would seat. All and all not a bad product. Will see if they last as I will be using them on my boat as well.

I was looking for something to mist/drip water my Epi's, cactus & succulents in the hot desert heat. I saw the reviews were not good as a mister so I looked for this in warehouse deals. Got it for $20 less there. (Used-like new) Sure enough it leaks & produces just drips. Fine with me! Portable plant watering system for my patio garden. One trip to Home Depot & $5 more, I have everything I need to water plants & cool mist myself!
