My life can be divided into 2 parts, before and after the Obol. Before the Obol my life was a cornucopia if misery and suffering. The inevitable sogginess of my breakfast cereal caused me to live in a miasma of despair. The eldritch ability of the milk to foul Capt-Crunch or Raisin Bran Crunch seemed an impossible foe. With every snap crackle and pop, like drums in the deep, I knew the saturation was coming for my precious malted grains. How can one enjoy the morning repast free from the heinous congealing of granule and dairy? Tiny bowls were insufficient to slake my cereal feinding. The enigma of a proper ratio of bovine mammary secretions to sugary grains eluded me for decades. I consulted the great minds of our age yet none of these learned men had a solution and dismissed my plight as one of unimportance. The hubris! The unmitigated gall! Obol, you have lifted the veil from my eyes. You've opened a new world to me. Thank you Obol creator. You know not the positive effect on my life.

Now I, in my 39 years of existence, never had a problem with soggy cereal because you pour the cereal, then the milk, and take care of business. However there are those who want to sit there at the table and conversate, or read something while there cereal is sitting there getting soggy, now THAT is when something like this is necessary. Now for someone like me I would need to fill this thing up a dozen times to get what probably a normal person would consider a regular bowl of cereal, but I am assuming if you feel the need for something like this you might fancy youself someone who could pour yourself a dozen bowls of cereal as to not have soggy cereal. My significant other is just that type of person. However, for her a couple of small bowls is just enough, and to have that crunchy cereal while she sits there and talks this thing is perfect. She loves it. I prefer to keep stuffing my mouth full of cereal and to use that crunch noise to drown out the noise of chit chat, but she loves the things, and uses it all the time.

PERFECT DESIGN FOR HARD CORE CEREAL LOVERS! I bought the medium and large size for my two grandsons who love to eat cereal any time of the day or night. I purchased the red and blue bowls and they are super bright colored, very sturdy bowls. The medium size will only hold a regular size portion of cereal even though it looks like it will hold a super size portion. This is a good size for most kids and adults. But my teenage grandson (who is eating his mother out of house and home) needed the large size. If you like larger portions, definitely get the large size.

These are cute as heck - I bought two and plan on giving these to my grandsons as a holiday gift with giant box filled with their favorite cereals (sugary of course, cuz I'm the grandma).

Cereal eating forever changed!

Once you use and fall in love with this bowl, and you will, it's hard to eat cereal out of a regular bowl. If I could give this 4.5 stars instead of 4 I would. I love that I can take my time eating my cereal and it doesn't get soggy, but more importantly, each bite is as crunchy as the last. I am eating more cereal than ever now! And look forward to eating it. While I understand the design of the bottom of the bowl for ease of holding, I find it a little awkward personally. I'm not sure how it could be improved, but it feels awkward to me. Not a big deal though. My only other complaint is that it is not much on the eyes. I like to have nice looking dishes, and this certainly isn't one of them. It is for function only. I don't break this out to serve guests breakfasts, but I put out of it myself frequently. Cleans easily, works great, not beautiful but is a genius product.

The bowl is sturdy and pretty, it comes in a little soft bag with the logo on it. I purchase the big red bowl. I will order the little ones next... if you dont eat large bowls of cereal or two helpings...you should choose the small bowl if using for cereal. These are great dip bowls also. Someone indicated the small bowls are for small kids....but some of us need to eat like small kids....its probably a standard serving. I love this bowl and will give them as gifts.

A little awkward to hold.

I purchased this bowl as gift from someone else, so I haven't personally seen the bowl or used it. My daughter-in-law loves the bowl and told me to give it 4 stars because she found it a little awkward to hold and eat out of at the same time. But she likes the bowl and it works for its intended purpose. Keeping one's cereal crisp and not soggy. Maybe if I had bought her the smaller size, it may not have been so awkward. She and I recommend the bowl.

No More Soggy Cereal x EVER!

I love this little bowl. Previously I would either throw away half of my cereal when it got sloppy, soggy before I could eat it all, or I would fill it a little at a time as I was eating. This is a brilliant way to solve that problem. Just spoon a bite or two from the plateau level as you eat and enjoy that crunch from the first bite to the last. The frosting on the cake is its durability and super easy rinse clean, wipe dry maintenance. One less irritating hassle to start your day.

I've all but stopped eating cereal because I'm not a fast eater and most the cereal would get soggy or I'd have to keep shaking in a little at a time. I LOVE THIS BOWL. I can choose how much cereal I want to go into the milk and if I have to stop for a moment to do something, I pick up where I left off. I purchased the large size and let me tell you.. its large! I probably would have been better off with the medium but either way, this bowl is great for those who hate soggy cereal.

Bought this as a gift for a voracious cereal eater.. he loves this bowl

The Obol design is the best imo because the compartments are connected via a small "slide" for the cereal. Most others you have to lift then dunk by the spoonful. Obol allows the user to add as much cereal at a time as he/she wishes.. the handle on the bottom is convenient as well

I love this bowl- completely solved my doggy cereal dilemma!! I got one for Christmas a couple years ago, and I loved it so much that I just bought one for my boyfriend who had similar cereal pet peeves!! LOL He loves it too- we both have the bigger size because we like an ample portion of cereal. The bowl is very sturdy plastic, doesn't feel cheap at all, and has good sized reservoirs on each side. Gotta say, it's improved breakfast for me!
