It's crazy how this system is so simple and yet works so well. I bought 3 sets of these for my niece's birthday party this past weekend. She has mild Autism and she LOVED these bubbles, she lit up and was laughing and having a great time, it was great to see her have so much fun with the bubbles. The setup was super easy, just open the box, put the sticks together, tear open the bag that contains the bubble mix that also doubles as the storage for the liquid. Add the bubble mix to 4c of water, mix, dump back in the bag and you're good to go. The bag worked great even when I had it in the uneven dirt. The bubbles were HUGE and easy for everyone to play with.

Great bubble wand, solution could be better

I bought this bubble wand several years ago. We have made gallons of bubble solution, and this wand made the absolute BEST giant bubbles. In the several years we have had it, I have not found a replacement that works as well as this wand. It took a little while to get it broken in--the bottom wanted to twist when we first unwrapped it. Also, we have used it so much that the plastic handles have broken. I took a couple of extra-long campfire sticks and some rubber bands and connected the bubble rope to this new, cobbled bubble wand. It still works wonderfully, after several years. To those who have had problems, note that bubbles work best on days with little to no wind and days with high humidity. A note on the solution included in the package--it worked fine, but I wouldn't give it a stellar rating. It did not work as well as other bubble solutions.We had much bigger bubbles with another product: Bubble Thing BIG Bubble Mix - MAKES 5.4 GALLONS! - Bubbles Biggest, Costs Least!

Blue and red wand not durable / didn't fit together right

I purchased this wand a year ago for use at my son's birthday party. It was the blue and red style, which looks like it has possibly been replaced with yellow/red sticks. Upon arrival, the wand handles are in 2 parts that must be put together. One stick went together with some elbow grease, but the other side wouldn't - I had to shave down the plastic in order to connect the piece.

In the past year, I've used this wand with children in my workplace, church and home. Unfortunately the sticks have bowed because they were not stored flat... and neither the red or blue stick stays together during use. The string itself has held up great, so I've continued to use it, but just with half of the handle (it's hard to make bubbles when the handles keep falling apart on you).

Regarding ease of use, I've found this style of bubble wand is too difficult for some children and adults (try the one handed wand with the slider instead). Although it may take some getting used to, it is a great design (our local bubble man uses larger wands of the same style)! Some will become frustrated if they cannot make or close off a bubble.... just have standard bubble wands nearby for those who find this design too challenging.

So overall it's a good design and makes great bubbles with practice, but it's not constructed as well as I would like. The plastic should have fit together upon arrival and not bowed so easily. If the newer yellow/red handle is more durable, please leave a comment so future buyers know whether or not this wand.

Super fun!

This was a HUGE hit at our family reunion! Even the adults liked to play with it. The bag of solution is great because I just took it with me and added water to it there, at the pavilion at an outside park. It was easy and the wand fit in great for minimal mess. Easy to learn as well. Great toy.

After mixing up the solution that came with this little rope wand, I was very disappointed in the production of bubbles. I switched to some bubble solution that I had purchased at Target, which works fairly well, and was able to produce some really nice, big bubbles. I liked the wand, but was disappointed that the solution didn't work out since I had hoped to have a source where I could order a decent product. I thought I should try the other bubble solution they produce, and ordered it.

In the meantime, I went to the computer and voiced my opinion to the company. David Erck, owner of Extreme Bubbles responded, and was sympathetic with my complaint and decided that he would send out their Family Pack, which includes the mid-size and the large rope wands and four bottles of the beeboo solution and a new plastic hoop, at no charge to me.

Receiving both the Family Pack, and the beeboo I ordered. For me, this solution works much better, and the big wands have produced some of the biggest bubbles I have ever seen. I know there are been quite a few that have been between 3 and 4 feet in diameter. It has been great fun and I can't wait to share them with my grandson.

I will continue to order this solution, when the need arises. I like very much how Mr. Erck has treated me as a customer.

This is the coolest bubble maker. I think the adults had more fun than the kids. My husband had to keep telling me that it was my sons gift and he'd buy me my own. The bubble solution works best when you let it sit for a couple days. I put it in one of my lock n lock containers and hid it from my son. I just found some hidden solution yesterday when moving furniture for our Christmas tree. I'm wondering how well it will work come spring time.

Smaller bubbles than the "ProWand" but seems to last longer ...

Smaller bubbles than the "ProWand" but seems to last longer (rope) and it is easier to handle. The wand itself is made cheaply of plastic and comes appart offer. No big deal but I had to constantly push the two part together. This one should also be made of one piece wood (dowel)
