Love the cup BUT...

The color is more green than the pictures show. It is nicely made and fits nice in my hand. I have larger hands so this is nice. It feels hand crafted which I enjoy.

I did run into an issue with mine which may cause it to wear out faster than expected. The first time I hand washed the cup, I noticed a large amount of paint chips on the sponge. It was a soft sponge I used so there was no abrasion applied to the mug. Much of the internal paint around where I would drink from was peeling off. It was slightly bubbly beneath the paint and it is in this spot it was not adhered to the mug. This peeled off right away. I used a plastic pen to help chip away any of the remaining loose paint. I do like cream in my coffee but the paint chips may have been a little much.

If you ate paint chips as a kid, this is the mug for you!

But all things aside, the mug itself is very fun and would make a great gift for someone. It holds much more than it seems. 10 ounces fills it up to the top of "COMPLAINT" leaving room for 4 more ounces of brew.

Great Mug, Hold Large Coffee

Sadly, my favorite mug broke in a tragic accident. Amidst my mourning period, I set out in search of a new "favorite mug". My arrived at the BigMouth Inc Grenade Mug and I could not be more pleased. My initial hesitation was it's capacity. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized it was capable of holding the largest cup size my Keurig brewed. It is very pleasing to the eye and has a "hand-made" feel to it. I doubt the little ring with the number 1 will hold for very long, but I'm alright with that.

The Big Mouth Incorporated Coffee Mug is one of those things you see on the shelf at the tourist center and think to yourself, "Wow! That is cute. I would really like one of those for my desk." But you don't buy it. Down the road you think, "I really wish I had bought that."

I was looking on Amazon for a United States Marine Corps coffee mug when I stumbled across this cute item. It is one of those items that sits on your desk and prompts a smile on occasion.

This little item is great for those of us who deal with the public or those of you who work in an office, especially a complaint department.

The box states that hand washing is recommended, so I take that to mean that it is not dishwasher-safe. This isn't the kind of coffee mug you would really drink out of anyway. It is the kind of mug you leave on your desk at work for a conversation piece.

I showed this mug to my wife when I saw it on Amazon and she thought it was cute, too. So much so that she bought it for me for Christmas. What a great Christmas present. Well, it is also a great birthday or Father's Day/Mother's Day gift, too.

I really enjoy mine and you will enjoy yours, too.

Great Quality Mug

This was purchased as a Dirty Santa gift, but we actually ended up keeping it. My husband loves it. It's big and holds a nice sized cup of coffee. It's been through the dishwasher a ton of times since we bought it, and it's not showing any knicks or issues with the glaze. It still even has the little "1" tag on it.

Bought as a gift for my almost teenage son. All his friends want one now ... Looks exactly like picture. Cool novelty. I'll be buying it again for a few other people... Noted a number of comments by others regarding this being a less than perfect everyday hot coffee mug. I see it more for decorative fun, a fun and funny conversation starter, not a novelty item you see everywhere. For that it gets top marks.

I just received my mug today (01/17/15). I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews about the paint being bad or some of the letters not printed correctly. I think the mugs vary every shipment. Mine was lucky and came out fine. (as shown in the pictures)

I will update if anything changes after I use the product.

I liked the mug itself, but what sent it over the top was the packaging. Just enough to make it secure for travel and when I opened it. The mug was still in one piece.... I am very pleased! Can not wait to gift it up.

Awesome coffee mug. Everyone loves it. Some of the reviews on here confuse me. A bunch of folks are complaining that it's hard to drink from. Hmmm. I bet these people also took the short bus during grade school and currently wear a helmet just to leave the house.

Maybe if you don't have an upper or lower lip this cup would be difficult to drink from. Otherwise, it's fully functional...as a cup, not a grenade.

If you have decided to be ridiculous and collect usable coffee cups, like myself, this one should be added to your collection.

It's a nice looking mug and makes a great statement at your work desk. Perfect conversational piece. Sorry not using it for coffee mug but just for display. It would cool to carry around for coffee.
