Do NOT use for coffee!

Just pulled it out of the box and after a minute of thinking "Wow this looks awesome!" I was sorely disappointed by the quality of this mug. It is extremely light weight, meaning its hollow and easy to break. The black gloss paint wasn't put on evenly. There is a spot that they missed while painting on the inside of the cup and they didn't even bother trying to paint the underside.

I turned on my electric kettle to make my first cup of coffee and as soon as the hot water touched the mug I heard an alarming amount of cracking from the mug. I quickly dumped the water out and while I can't see any damage it is quite clear that if you put hot water in this mug it will shatter. Great I just bought a coffee mug that is as useful as a lace umbrella in the rain. So in closing this "toy" mug will go sit on a shelf and never be used.

BOX SAYS; No Microwave, No Dishwasher! Hand Wash. AS WARNED BY OTHERS... Placing really hot coffee in this mug will make it crack.

The reason for NO MiCroWave is that the process of making this cup is SO Cheap that there must be 'Air Bubbles' in the material that makes the cup. Inside a microwave, hot dishwasher OR pouring HOT Coffee into it, makes the Air Heat up greater than the material and can cause it to crack OR pop off the Glazed coating.

Pretty to look at but not useful, therefore not recommended for Real Use. Am Sending it back.

I saw a picture of a mug like this some time ago, but couldn't find one online anywhere. When this popped up on Amazon, I was pretty stoked to order it.

Overall, I like it, and it is my main coffee cup every morning.

Size: Good sized mug. Holds plenty of liquid, and needs about 1.5 fills from the Mrs's Kuerig to fill it.

Handle: As others have said, the handle is smaller than expected. I was expecting maybe a Glock 26 size, but this is actually smaller than a Ruger LCP. Not a complaint, just an observation. I don't have big hands, but I'll never use an actual "pistol grip" while holding my cup o' joe. That's okay. I'm more of a "cup the cup" kind of guy rather than "hold the handle while extending my pinky" kind of guy anyway. It's worth the coolness factor.

Quality: Not high. It is a lightweight ceramic. I've had heavier, more dense mugs. This one feels breakable, but it has held up to normal use and a couple of dishwasher runs.

Gift quality: Sure. If you have a gun lover/coffee drinker in your circle, this is fun and a great conversation piece. Would I give it to anyone? No way! I want to be the guy with the coolest mug on the block. :-)

Fun gift but not usable. Coating started pealing after it was washed one time. Probably a novelty and not supposed to actually be used, but I would have thought I could have at least washed it once. Kids loved picking it out and giving it to dad.

Cute, But Has A Minor Flaw

I love the design and it's a decent cup especially for the price. My biggest complaint is there's a tiny hole under the trigger that managed to collect water and it's impossible to get out. Kinda makes me feel a little germy hearing it squish around with no way to get it back out entirely.

Originally, I was happy enough with this product. It was really just meant to be something funny for my husband's stocking. He liked it and although he thought it was really big he said it was comfortable to hold. He never got an opportunity to do so. I washed it and put it in the dish drainer. I was getting a cup out of the drainer that was beside his cup and it BARELY clinked into it. The gun part completely snapped off and there was no way it could even be glued back on. I could hardly believe what happened because it was such a minor tap. It was certainly not worth the price I paid for it!!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a few of my coworkers. They all loved it and the detail is pretty good on the gun. There are some "habit" issues with holding the mug given where your index finger has to go, but other than that, its great. My only complaint was that I ordered two of them and one came chipped. It was chipped on the bottom so I didn't ask for a replacement, but they obviously aren't of the absolute highest quality.

My wife bought 3 of these as Christmas gifts for our personal use in our gun shop and they are great! Nice size and comfortable to hold, plus they look cool! We have been using them daily for over 6 months now with no issues. The customers are pretty much all intrigued when they see them while we drink our coffee and want one for themselves. Guess we need to start stocking them for sale. Since we are at the shop, we hand wash them, and maybe that adds to the longevity of the mug versus dishwashers. Don.t know for sure but do love the mugs!

This was a Christmas gift for my 18 year old brother. He loved it. The mug is very well made and can withstand the microwave. Be careful if you run it through the dishwasher, there is a hole in the bottom of the gun part and water collects inside (the gun is hollow), I have removed it from the dishwasher and made a mess many times as water spills out of the hole in the bottom. Let the water drain before putting this away.

Great Concept- OK Quality

Gave this to my Law Enforcement Brother-in-law for his birthday, I opened it once it arrived to check the quality before wrapping it up. There was a chip on the bottom and some uneven/drip marks. no big deal for the price i guess. the box quality was worse, makes the product look cheaper than it was. You'd be better off taking it out of the box to wrap it for better presentation purposes.

Long Story short, cute and fun. He's been drinking his morning coffee from it and still giggles about it. Now my Father in Law wants one too. Still would order again despite the MINOR flaws.
