It works until the bumper falls off.

It floats really well, the fan is strong enough to keep it floating over my slightly uneven hardwood floor.

The lights were fun, and lasted a while. But they died after my 12yo son kicked the pants off this thing. Ok, it's not made for outdoor-strength kicking.

The key point of this soccer "ball" is that the foam bumper wears out first. After a couple dozen indoor soccer games, the black foam around the perimeter just fell off. Just fell right off. It was badly pitted and damaged from the abuse, and that's not unexpected. We kick it.

But you should know that after 10-12 months of use, you're gonna kick the black foam off, and then you don't want to use it anymore.

Super fun indoor toy, great birthday gift for soccer fans

Super fun indoor toy for playdates, especially during the winter. My 8 yr and 4 yr old kids play with it inside and I don't have any issues with scuffing or denting. It doesn't lift off the ground either so, as opposed to playing with a real ball indoors, this is safe for the house. My daughter really loves the light up action and I often see the older one coaching the little one on how to play soccer with lights going and their mini radio blaring. It's in complete indoor party. We've owned it for 6 months and so far have't had any problems with it breaking. Of course my kids don't slam it but use moderate kids. It's great for travel too, if they are bored in hotel, or isolated area of airport, they can take it out to release some energy. Just wish we could use it while camping at night!

Ok I love this toy

Ok I love this toy, but it gets one star off and I'll explain. I work as a pro dj and saw this and actually thought it would be awesome to do human air hockey at kids parties. Turned it on, and it was gliding around my downstairs wood floor with ease. Now here's where it loses the star, I was playing with it in my warehouse with an employee and it knocked into a metal support, now base of the support chipped the corner of it (this is really unlikely to happen the way it's made), now I didn't care about that and it doesn't seem to have affected the operation at all, but one of the LEDs stopped working. I was hoping to repair it and opened it, discovered the wiring is really super weird so no way to repair without doing some major work. I'm dealing with the out light and will maybe get another one if my party game idea is a hit. For now I'm painting it with glow in the dark paint to add a little something.

This toy is a lot of fun.I bought it for my son's soccer them Birthday party that was indoor (winter),I brought two goals as well so kids could play and for straight three hours boys kicked this around,for a minute it stoped working and I though it was distorted,but I was not surprised because it took a lot of beating,but then it came back to life.I bought it knowing that it will be just desposible one time use as it will not survive all that kicking but bive it or not,we brought it back home with is and it still works,which is pretty amazing.I highly recommend this toy.

This was a huge hit with my grandchildren. Due to weather they only played with it inside and were able to avoid any damage in the house. The dog was not to thrilled with it.

My 8 year old son loved this soccer disk. It is louder than expected so our pets are a bit terrified of it, but it works great on carpet and even on our tile floors.

Would recommend to any kid who loves soccer.

Cool Hover Ball

This is actually as cool as I was hoping it would be! It hovers just like a puck on an air hockey table and slides just as easy IF you are using on wood, linoleum, or laminate flooring. If you are hoping this will work on carpet, of any kind, you'll be disappointed, otherwise it's pretty cool. I wouldn't actually give it a good "kick" because it will want to flip on you but a good hard shove with your foot is just the ticket. LED lights add to the fun and mesmerization of the child. Boys and girls love it, ages 10, 8, 6, and 2.

The grandsons love it...

Bought this for our grandsons, ages 5 & 2 1/2. My husband & I took it out & gave it a trial run playing air soccer in our kitchen, just to make sure that it worked well. So much fun! I almost bought another one for us. The grandsons love it & were having a blast playing with it. For their parent's sake, we gave them a big package of AA batteries with it, too.

The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5? Battery life is VERY short. They had only been playing with it for 15 minutes & it was already starting to die, and that is without turning the cool lights on. This is such a cool toy & works really great on smooth surfaces & the lights are fun, too. Just plan on spending $$ on batteries.😂

we thought it would be a terrific toy for playing on a wooden gym floor....it lasted 8 minutes with 6 boys, 3 on a team, kicking it back and forth across a line....fell apart....would not buy again or recommend

Purchased as a gift. Did not work well on low-pile rug nor a dusty concrete floor (brand new basement). Worked moderately well on wood floor. Had I known it would not work in a basement, I would not have purchased this. The idea was for the kids to use at the home, preferably in the basement. The batteries were used up pretty quickly. That is why I gave it 2 stars.

Otherwise it floats well and has some nice bumper edging. It was hard to tell from our brief usage if the black bumper marked any of the white baseboards. Since our open wood floor area was so small it didn't get used much. This toy although great in concept, the limited surfaces that it works with renders it almost as non-used for the recipient. Unsure how this works for tile or other surfaces. It was not used outside on concrete or other surfaces - such as a tennis court , we may need to test it there - but then that requires we pile in a car and find an unused court.
