Product Description

The 4Cube is a 4x4x4 LED cube with 64 RGB LEDs. Product Dimensions 4.75 x 4.75 x 7.25 inches.

This is our manufactured retail version of our 4Cube. It has the same programming as our kits. No assembly required.

4Cube features:

64 three-color RGB LEDs that can each display 4096 colors.
51 basic visualizations.
10+ transition effects.
Variable speed randomly smoothed along random paths.
Dynamic palette morphing for smooth color effects.
Arbitrary symmetry and affine transform mappings performed dynamically.
Color, timing, symmetry, and transition randomization for creating unique visualizations on the fly.
512-bit random cycle seed saved between power-ups almost guarantees never repeating visualization cycle.

This isn't even close to the best of it. It's just what I happen to have recorded. But put on some music and plug this. You can't stop watching it. Or maybe you can ... but my house full of ADHD cannot. Thinking of buying a second.

I'd always been interested in getting this for years but when I saw it in the TV show "LIMITLESS" on Brian's desk I caved in and bought it. Works as advertised. Very fun to watch. Happy I bought it. Edited 12-1-17. the on/off switch was always "finicky" and sometimes took a couple or more tries to turn on but finally a few weeks ago it stopped working. I can't turn it on anymore and I can't see a way to open it and replace the switch myself. Useless until I can figure it out. Just took away a star for that.

The Hypnocube Animated Light Sculpture is awesome! It's like watching a light show, the fountain show at the Bellagio in Vegas, fireworks or a meteor shower. It's very intriguing and memorizing ~ I have a hard time taking my eyes off of it, especially at night.

I purchased one for myself and then my 13 year-old-grandson fell in love with it, so I purchased a second one for my grandson. The lights go through many different "dances" and light combinations.

Highly recommend!

This cube is worth every bit of $90. It's beautiful, the video doesn't do it justice. There's moments when this thing goes into a "shimmer" mode and the color combinations are breath taking. My favorite two are a "cotton candy look" and an "autumn fall look".....do yourself a favor and buy this thing immediately, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR INTO PSYCHEDELICS.....(which is probably while your here anyways 😜)

Because of the price and some of the reviews I was hesitant about buying 1 of these but I have been wanting 1 for years and I finally gave in....

Thank God I did!!!! I love this cube!!!

I just now turned it on for the first time (12-23-15) and all the bulbs are working just fine.

The clear case looks better than I had imagined, it is basically just sitting on the base but it does not look cheap as someone else suggested.

The colors are spectacular and the ever changing patterns are more complicated than I had imagined!

With shipping and handling it was $101.00 which isn't cheap but when you consider someone had to piece together 64 individual lights by hand that is roughly $1.50 a bulb which isn't so bad.

Lol, I am trying to write this review but I can't stop staring at it, my God I LOVE THIS CUBE!!!

I will keep updating my review to let people know how it holds up over time.

This is such a beautiful and mesmerizing thingy especially at Christmas time. I've connected it to a Koogeek smart plug as another reviewer suggested so that I can turn it on/off using my cell phone and voice activation.

Bought this because it was always seen on Brian Finch's (Jake McDormand) desk in the Netflix series "Limitless" which I loved. Seeing this makes me laugh. Also, it reminds me of Tom Holland in "Homecoming" constantly talking about the 'glowy thingy'. So does it do anything for the money you spend except a soothing light show? Not really. Is it relaxing? Yes, I think so.

Love it! Good size takes up space. Lots of dancing lights doesn't repeat mostly. Only thing I would like is a way to slow it down, runs though the lite sequence so fast you can't appreciate all the 100's of patterns. So buy it now, you looked so you want it.

Nice fit and finish, the clear top is well done. 4x4x4=64 rgb leds so there is plenty of action. Power cord good, small switcher type. Takes 1 watt power. Love this thing. I wish there was an online repository of other sequences. I might add a usb cable to this think and try programming. There are instructions posted on mfg's website. Love this thing. Very well done. Don't buy the kit, just get this one done and its cheaper.

HypnoCube 4x4x4 LED Cube

Our pre-teem granddaughter LOVED this...while older brother wanted all the newest techy gear, she wanted something a 'little techy' but more her speed of not having to put anything together. Her father, who had one of these as a kid, suggested this....it turned out perfectly - she loved that she and her father could just spend some quiet time on Christmas night, snuggling and watching the lights. Who knew this would be so magical. Now she says she can hardly wait to go to sleep!! The vendor was terrific - shipped perfect condition and on time, and even sent follow up email to make sure we were happy with the product.

Hypnotic 4x4x4 RGB cube!

This product has been around for many years and for a good reason. The main circuit design and the programmed software/firmware that runs is professionally written creating unique & random visualizations. It is surely an eye candy blinky blinky cube and does so by displaying various RGB color patterns rather nicely. The use of 64 TRUE tri-color RGB LED in a 4x4x4 matrix gives the cube the edge over similar products on the market. The current selling price is certainly on the high side considering all the other brands on the market today. But, having said all that, I do not totally feel the buyers remorse like most other reviewers of the product as I find the cube very attractive and very delicate at the same time.

PS: The use of custom 7.5v AC/DC adapter (Included with the cube) with somewhat short cable length does limit it's mobility & placement in most homes & work places as it needs to sit on a desk where AC power is needed for its eye candy operation. BTW, It does work on DC voltages as low as 5vDC but most Li-Ion USB power-banks these days stops delivering power if the current draw falls below 50-60mAh. This being a device that consumes varying amounts of current draw depending on the animation making it a challenging device to supply DC power to run from USB power-bank based battery sources.

Having said that, I was able to make my own custom 18650 based Lithium battery power solution to the cube and incorporated all that home made jerry-rigged circuitry inside the base of the unit making it an even more desirable 4x4x4 RGB LED portable cube. Once charged, my modified cube works for almost a week's worth of non-stop Blinky Blinky operation due to it's ultra low power consumption. Maybe the manufacturer must improvise the design based my custom battery design and make it portable like I did on mine at home thus making the current product more attractive for buyers.
