Work, but only for certain applications.

Don't buy these to keep small wood or metal particles out of your eyes. The mesh isn't small enough.

I bought them to keep sticks and wood chunks out of my eyes while I'm doing understory work and they work well. You'll get a bit sweaty where the goggles hit your face, but it's better than getting stabbed by stick that snakes it's way past regular plastic safety glasses.

I wear a bandana over my face when I work anyway, I just put the bottom of the goggles over the top of the top edge of the bandana. Keeps the bandana in place and stops sweat from accumulating in the bottoms.

They do cut out a significant amount of light. You won't be able to wear them in the early morning or late evening hours.

Worked actually really well. Unfortunately the rubber that connected to the head strap broke after only 3 uses. Not a very solid connection there and I could see this happening again. Too bad, the fine mesh was perfect for keeping coarse dust out of my eyes. Good idea, just poorly built.
**update. Seller did immediately send a refund for the broken goggles. Doesn't change the toughness of the goggles, but excellent customer service

I really didn't like having my goggles always fog up on me since I would wear a dust cover mask these are perfect and they protect you quite well

Fog proof, not sweat proof
by Michael Stamps (4 out of 5 stars)

These are the best eye protection for cutting that I've found. Ive had issues with sweating and fogging with my conventional lensed glasses. I had to constantly take my glasses off to wipe them. Usually about the 3rd time, I'd just throw them in the brush. Then I'd start getting hit in my eyes with chunks of wood. This made for a long day of logging. Then I found these things. They fit fairly well (not perfectly, as there is a gap above my nose and they are a bit tight below my eyes). They are basically swimming goggles with a metal screen where the lense would go. I absolutely love them and I'm now much more efficient and safe while performing my cutting duties. One of my only real issues with them is that if you are a heavy sweater like me, they small holes in the steel will fill up, making it hard/impossible to see. It's a much easier fix than my traditional lensed glasses though. Just gotta take em off and blow the sweat out real quick. I promise these things are 100% fog proof, but not quite sweat proof. That being said, I'd recommend these to anyone who has issues with foggy lenses. Almost a perfect product. Another small issue is you have a degree of tunnel vision with these, as there is no peripheral view. You have to look down towards your feet to avoid tripping (which happens at times anyways while logging). One last complaint is the rubber around the eyes holds sweat so you have to take em off once in a while to dump the sweat out. If they had small holes in the bottom to drain the sweat, I'd be much happier with the product. All in all, a very very amazing product. Highly recommended.

Not for airsoft
by Nathan Caswell (2 out of 5 stars)
November 5, 2018

I know they don't say they are for airsoft, but if you think 'well, they look like they will be good for airsoft' let me tell you, they aren't. I tested them first by shooting them from 5 feet with .25 gram bbs at ~400 fps. The first 5 shots dented the mesh. The subsequent ones penetrated the mesh. It was soon torn up.

It must be good for something, but it's not airsoft.

Used For Airsoft

These goggles fit well and are very comfortable. The mesh is actually a thin steel plate with holes spread evenly throughout. Therefore it's more of a flat surface and is much less likely to cause bb's to shatter than the wire type mesh. I've been hit in the fave a few times wearing these and haven't had one do that yet.

These are a great alternative to goggles when using the chainsaw
by PJS (5 out of 5 stars)

These are a great alternative to goggles when using the chainsaw. Goggles always fog up and make the job more hazardous since you can't see anything. There are no such thing as goggles that don't fog - I've tried at least dozen different kind. These mesh glasses are great and I'd recommend them to anyone for using them as I do.

This gogles are very reliable on protecting your eyes. Even on very hot weather it won't produce any fog. The vision through it is clear.

The only downside is that you lose any peripheral vision, in order to see your surrounding you need to turn your head completely.

Although they styling could be better these work great. I wore them for a few hours. They never bothered my face, kept the debris out, and never fogged!!! They look like swim goggles with ss mesh. I'd recommend them as long as you're not trying to win a fashion show

No fog, glasses I acually wear
by Trophyslayer (5 out of 5 stars)
February 8, 2015

I always disliked safety glasses, always fogged up on me, not an issue with these, I usually start out with them on, only to remove them shortly after, and how many times I ran inside to flush my eyes out because I took them off, but not with these
I have used with cutting/grinding metal, running chain saws, and using miter saw, have yet to get anything in my eye

not sure if very fine dust blowing directly into your face will make it to your eyes or not, but most of the time the majority of the dust goes away from you anyway, so I doubt it will be an issue
