I purchased this as a gift for a Thor loving bartender and it has been a huge hit. It's very well made and heavy and is exactly what I was hoping for.

I'd maybe change the category it's in though. Even though drinking can be educational AND fun, it's a little difficult to give a rating on how much fun this "toy" is, or rating this "toy's" educational value when talking about a solid bottle opener.

My boyfriend loved it for his 21st birthday!

Pros: nice design, has a good weight to it, magnetic back to catch bottle tops, decent price

Cons: my boyfriend loved it so much that he wanted to display it on the fridge but the magnet isn't strong enough to hold itself on the fridge

He's super gluing magnets to the back right now

Whom so ever possesses this hammer, if he be worthy, shall have the power of Thor. It is very effective as a bottle opener. Weighs FAR more than it looks like it should. There have been no less than 20 attempts by people to walk out of my house with it, so b uy it, but watch it like a hawk.

I bought this for my son just because I am a huge Thor fan ... it turned out to be a great hit! Everyone comments on it .... people love it! It looks cool, has a nice heavy weight to it and works well as a bottle opener. It's fun to keep out on the table when we have friends over and are playing card games and having a few beers. A fun piece!

Definitely has the weight to be quite durable. However, truly disappointed that it did not look exactly like the picture advertised. It wasn't silver, more of a pewter color and the inscription is very difficult to read - background is too dark.

Broke after a few uses

The bottle opener mechanism broke off after a few uses. It is just glued to the hammer so one difficult bottle cap and it pops off.

It's a surprisingly heavy weight for something so small and it seems durable, but I measured it to be exactly 5"

Not the 6 I was promised

That extra inch would have been really nice when holding the handle to play around with
