Such a great product! My cat sits and watches the feeder for most of the day and loves to jump to the windowsill every now and then to scare a bird away. Tip: use a window that can be opened, or is next to a window that is easily opened to simplify refilling. Also, you may want to place it so it rests on the bottom lip of your window to help take some of the stress off of the suction cups. It has never fallen completely, but a few instances after re-attaching it to the window after cleaning, one of the suction cups released and it was lopsided. This is solved by letting it rest on the lip of the window. Very happy with this purchase!

Our cats literally watch the birds all day and so do we. It took 2 days for the birds to find it and now we have to fill it daily. We don't use the one way mirror film either and the birds eventually got over the fact the cats can see.

Fun for the entire family. My cats almost knocked themselves out, face planting into the window at first. Apparently, in their excitement they forgot a life-time of knowledge about windows. I think the birds are now toying with the cats and often 2 small birds will sit in there ignoring the cat face pressed upon the glass. They are afraid to walk away from the feeder, afraid they might miss seeing a bird come. They even try to nap facing it.

Mirror? The so called mirror is a sheet of plastic that gets put on the inside of the window.

I was expecting a one way mirror in the bird feeder like in the title.

Not just for the birds...

Purchased this for the cats' entertainment. The suction cups have held up beautifully in our Montana winter and wind. But the 'one-way' film was immediately removed by one of our over-zealous cats and won't stay on the inside of the window. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the seed doesn't seem to drop down into the feeding tray as readily as I'd like (maybe it's the winter dampness?) and the 'one-way' film is very small. I would have preferred it be a bit larger than the feeder to block the birdies' view to the inside.... although a local mouse doesn't seem too intimidated!

Birds didn't care

Easy to install and uninstall, which is good because I had it up for 2 and a half months and the birds never touched it. I changed its location and its seed and nothing, nothing, nothing. I had birds sitting in shrubs under and around the thing, but not interested in the feeder. What a waste.

Item works great and as intended. For the poster who commented that you need a screw driver to get the lid off is completely wrong. The lid actually slides (very snuggly) over the suction cups, to keep it on. If you slowly but firmly pull up on it from the suction cups it should come up just fine.

Disappointed in this product. I wish I could return it. There are no instructions for how to load the bird seed. You would think this would be intuitive, however the screws that hold it together do not allow for the top to open to pour in the seed and the screws are anchored at the same location as the suction cups. Also the perch is plastic without a rubber cover or weather stripping. Must be uncomfortable for the birds because they are standing inside the bird feeder to get the seed instead of on the perch. Then the feeder is messy. Pick another one.

Terrible product. Cheap flimsy plastic that looks like it will break after a dozen times refilling the bird seed, and no matter what I did it would absolutely not stick to any window. I'm so disappointed and disgusted with what an absolute ripoff this was!

I ordered this a present for my mother. I was worried that it wouldn't stay on the window but it has been in one place for over a year with no signs of movement. the morning doves have taken to sitting on the top of it so i would say that it is sturdy. The one way reflector works perfectly and it is easy to refill!
