Product Description

This ring takes the Jabba Huttese alphabet and shows it's English translation. Perfect for your Star Wars fan. More info: Huttese was the native language of the Hutts, although it was spoken by many races, especially those in Hutt Space. Because of the Hutts' commercial and criminal influence throughout the galaxy, Huttese was the second most common language after Galactic Basic, and served as the lingua franca for most of the space surrounding the Hutts' territory.

My son loves this! It was delivered quickly. It was exactly as pictured. The only request I would make....have it available in different sizes. It is so huge that my son wears it on a necklace.

If you like Star Wars a lot, and are into wearing rings, this is a fun item to have around.

A real conversation piece, if you will.

Very Happy

Allow me to get my geek on here...

I've seen every Star Wars movie on opening day since 1977. When I first received this ring, I was concerned because I had assumed the type-face would be "aurebesh" the standard alphabet of the Star Wars universe. The letters are similar, but they are not aurebesh. After doing some research I found this alphabet is "Huttese Trade" and IS a legitmate Star Wars alphabet. So congrats to the designer, you out-geeked even me. In the words of Vader, "Impressive, most impressive".

Also, the ring is well made, very happy with my purchase.

From a major Star Wars fan...

Being a major Star Wars fan I really enjoy this ring.

The only thing I would change would be to make more then two sizes, I had to get this little plastic thing to keep ring on finger. Other then that very Happy.

It spins and stuff!

Sweet ring that spins. The size ten is a little tight on me, but HEY WHAT ISN'T?! AMIRITE?!!

Ring is as advertised, there seems to be some debate on the exact dialect of hutteese that the ring translates too, but this is just another reason to purchase this fine conversation starter. I mean, would you want to date someone that doesn't understand the difference in dialects of a fictional slug-gangster species?? I did not think so.

Made the boys promise not to do their homework in Huttese!

Bought two of these for the Star Wars fans in our house. The boys have written several messages and written their names on everything the own. I'm glad they are having fun with these. I find them to be ease to read and well made. Be sure to check your ring size before you order. I didn't and now the boys are wearing them around their necks. However, I think they prefer them that way. My oldest said he will use his for a wedding band. I bet his bride asks for a big rock to make up for his goofy ring:)
