First, not everything pictured or stated to be in the bag is actually in the bag. Maybe my shipment was defective - cool. But LifeGear doesnt care to respond to emails.

Secondly, for the price and because items were missing, it isnt worth it. I could put together my own bag from scratch for cheaper (and of a larger size).

The bag itself is small, but its quality. You can tell itll hold up. But dont expect to shove a bunch of stuff in it. It wont fit. It definitely is small.

Maybe good for a hike and a "just in case something goes awry, this is convenient and will keep my things dry" bag. Definitely not a survival bag.

Overall, I'm disappointed in the purchase. I wouldn't purchase it again nor would I recommend it. Do yourself a favor and go to an discount store and get a cheap backpack then go to a hardware store and buy pieces that suit your needs. Itll be cheaper and you'll get exactly what you want.

Bought this for a car kit in case of emergency. I have used the lifegear lights for years as a distraction for young kids and they take a beating. This seems up to the task

The backpack is a combination nylon and mesh which will clearly last longer the first aid items (which can always be replenished). One nice feature is that the portion of the back that rest on your back is padded. Which, assuming you placed something a bit heavier in the back, would be nice on any hiking, mountain biking etc.. activities.

I gave this product five stars even though the bags is a bit small for a full 24hour back pack. My son and I are in the Civil Air Patrol and we are required to have a 24 hour pack ready for missions. After purchasing all the requried items it was tough trying to make it fit. In fact we had to leave some items out due to season. It would be nice if the bag was a little larger. Great quality though.

Love having emergency items in a portable backpack. Would have cost much more if each item was purchaced individually. Good base to start building emergency prep bag.

And this is why the Pro's say to build your own kit. Basicly everything here is cheap junk. The backpack is the worst I have ever seen, as is much of what it contains.
