Tri color lighterby Steve S, (4 out of 5 stars)

I just like color changing items, including lighters. I had an expensive one many years back that died rather quickly from clogging. I had a cheaper one, around $20, that suffered the same fate. Both only changed from blue to red.
This TU lighter is inexpensive and fairly solidly built. I'm not sure how long it'll continue to function but it didn't cost much so whatever I get out of it will be OK. Butane lighters, like Nexus 6 replicants, aren't built to last.
There is a slight delay before the color changes from blue to either red or green. The green flame is impressive, very intense glowing color. The red one, not quite so much and a little harder to see.
All in all, a cool lighter. Glad to see TU coming out with lots of EDC goodies.
The three colored flames were cool. The quality of the lighter was so disappointing.

The three different color flames is really cool. I loved it for the ten minutes it worked. Gas was leaking out of the bottom and there was a crack in the vclear plastic gas chamber.

I bought two of these lighters hoping one would work and maybe include some instructions especially on troubleshooting. Neither one works and I don't have any instructions. I even have tried emailing true utility directly to. no avail. If I can get them working. I'll add a rating though it won't look good athirst point.
I really don't know if it has a multicolored flame at this point.

I bought this lighter despite the bad reviews, i figured i would give it a try. The lighter lasted about a month, i put good butane in it and worked well for about a month after that it would not light again, i took out the butane and tried another brand and still nothing, its now in the garbage where it belongs.

My dad filled it up and clicked it a couple of times and all that was coming out was gas so he used another lighter to start it and it burst into a fireball in his hand I strongly suggest not buying this lighter
