This is a fantastic cover, with superior workmanship.

I just wanted to note... in the close-ups of the cover details, it may appear that the design elements are rather large and/or thick. But the corner filligree pieces are very thin and flat to the leather. The Auryn is not that bulky; it sticks out maybe 1/4 inch or so, or a bit less. These pieces are attached SOLIDLY. There's no wiggle or anything, and I feel even if I were to scrape this cover over something, they wouldn't come loose or fall off. (Not that I'd treat such a piece of art that way!)

The elastic holders inside are TIGHT. There's no wiggling of the Kindle in those, either. (Mine is a Paperwhite.)

The cover can fold all the way back without breaking the spine, though I don't think it is designed to be held that way. Still, if you want to use just one hand and the cover is flapping too much for you, you can turn it back. The front won't lie flat on the back, it will still make a wedge shape.

My girlfriend is a fan of the Neverending Story and watching her face as she opened her very own custom made Neverending Story was pure awesome. The Kindle Fire HD inside was just icing on the cake. Truth be told I only bought the Kindle so she could have something to put the cover on. My only complaint is that the straps are a little tight and it makes it difficult to turn the Kindle on with their new button placement. To be honest, I can't even remove the star for that.

Geekify support is awesome and they really made the best gift a guy could ever give.

I absolutely love the look and feel of this cover. It fits my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly and the entire concept is so clever. My Kindle truly is the Neverending Story book. The AURYN on the front is really cool and I can't really tell what it's made of, but it sure looks like the 'real' thing.

I can't report on the durability of the decorations and overall protectiveness of this cover as I have yet to mistreat it. Honestly, it makes me treat my Kindle like a unique treasure so in a way it is working out well as a protective case for me.

One thing I'll warn after ordering this item, do check your email! I didn't receive this item until weeks later, because I neglected to respond to the email asking which model the cover was for. Had I just answered the email immediately, I would have received my cover a LOT sooner.

I've had my eReader Cover for about a month and a half now, and I have to say it is fantastic! The corners are bending just the tiniest bit, but otherwise the cover looks just as fresh and perfect as the day I got it. It works great, and it always catches people's attention. I love this cover! Money well spent. :)

Says it's made to fit but they clearly didn't measure it correctly. The cheap crappy little elastic bands barely touch the corners of my Kindle Fire HDX 7" so it will not stay in place. Also it makes it impossible to turn it on or unlock the screen if you can manage to wrestle it into place. Overpriced useless junk. Would not recommend unless you just want to keep it on your shelf.

Absolutely beautiful, looks just like the old weathered copy received by Bastian in the first movie, complete with Auryn and filigree. Excellent quality, and perfectly sized; the seller emailed me to ensure he made a cover that would fit my kindle exactly. I highly recommend this product.

The look and feel of the product is fantastic. However, it does not hold the Kindle very well. My Kindle is constantly slipping out from under the cheap, elastic corner holders.

Kootek 8 Channel DC 5V Relay Module

This was a very cheap alternative to me designing and spinning a board for my testing purposes. The only thing not convenient for me was the ground signal triggering the circuit. I modified the board to work off a 5VDC signal after searching Google for a schematic.

UPDATE 5/14/2015:

I've been using 27 of these boards in very aggressive conditions for 5 months straight now, and have around 35,000 relay cycles (on and off) for each board. These mounted to fixtures inside an environmental chamber where we ramp the temperature from ambient to -5C, hold for 22 minutes, ramp to 55C in 3 minutes, hold for 22, ramp to -5C in 3 minutes (loops until we stop it). 3 separate times, we have ran the chamber with the boards on down to -110C and they survive. Like I mentioned before, these are a great board. I did have 1 relay go bad, it appears the internal contacts are what failed (120VAC on one side, only 25VAC on the other). I've included the rework schematic to make these trigger on a 5V signal. I'm using a National Instruments DAC to control the relay board channels.

UPDATE 3/25/16:

These relay boards are still running strong after a year and a half. We had a 3 month fixture shut down but we started the test back up and they still worked like new. We're currently using them in ambient temperatures with approximately a relay activation every 25 seconds. The most commonly used relays on the boards have a cycle count in the range of 110,000 cycles +/-5%. These board have worked great and have put up with more than expected. This test will complete in May and I fully expect all 18 boards to make it without any problems.

This appears to be a great cable, and it does work very well with my iPhone 7 and my car stereo, a Kenwood. BUT.....I was in line at JoAnn with my wife, and low and behold, there in that long circuitous check out line was one just like this, only black for $3.99. Oh well.

I am giving three stars because these broke in a week. However, *may be* partially my fault. In settind down my laptop at an angle, the cable hit first and immediately broke the jack end from the cable. Yes, stupid and a bit careless on my part, but I also kinda expected the cable to stand up to 'general stupidity'. I share the blame, they get three stars.

Some kid who is facing the shame of his sheriff father getting his ass handed to him by a one-eyed history teacher may stumble by after you're a walker. Useful In Car Aux Jack - Not Great Quality

My order only came with one cable. Amazon was willing to send me a 2-pack to make up for it but I only needed one.

This cable looks nice but less than 4 months of use mine showed it's true colors. It shorts easily and cuts the left signal while keeping the right.

I used this in my car and plugged my phone in to the Aux port for GPS directions and hands-free phone calls. It was great for this purpose. I am disappointed in the quality and remember another cable I had (different brand from Radio Shack) that I used for at least a year and a half before losing.

This might work out for you if you don't plug and unplug the device as frequently. Also, you should receive 2 cables in your order so that can let you have more life out of the purchase.

I acknowledge the possibility that my cable may have been defective but have experienced other cables in the past so know the experience could be better.

So I just received this compact but solid little package last night. I charged it to my Mac Air and did a quick test w/my iPhone. It worked. Got home from work just a little while ago and decided to test further. So now I'm sitting in my living room with the speaker in my kitchen about 25 feet away. And with the iPhone I turn it on & off, turn the volume up and down; it just works! And at full volume it is quite loud. I'm in the house alone and there are no background noises so I've turned it down, otherwise too loud! This is one nice little package. And by using bluetooth, the iPhone becomes the remote; great.

The main reason for buying it was to replace a cheap one (other brand) I'd bought a couple of years ago that has failed and required AA batteries. And I needed to replace it for another big trip to Europe this summer. This will certainly fill the bill in terms of features (bluetooth and cabled), quality, volume and portability. I bought the 2 yr. warranty to be safe. So I look forward to using it around the house a lot more then I expected and have something great for travel. I was looking at several less expensive speakers and finally decided to spend a bit more and get a better unit; this one really fits the bill!

Seriously I wasn't expecting that much and thought I would be sending this back. No way! This is a keeper. The sound quality is unnatural for this tiny little thing. I just received it yesterday and used it on our deck paired to my Iphone 4s. I don't want to say "for the price" because I don' t think that is a fair way of evaluating a product. So lets start with the quality. The build is excellent and the look is very modern and attractive. The lighting and the disappearing touch controls on top are fun. The range seemed of bluetooth is excellent for my needs and the shrimpy little thing can be stashed anywhere. We tried a few different places like the deck box where it created a bass chamber effect, not huge but it was there. We found that you should turn the speaker up all the way and control the volume with your iphone, when it is turned up the little bugger danced across the wood table. I am excited about this purchase and couldn't be happier. It's priced right. It's great quality, and its very portable and quick to set up.

The size fits most cars as it was quite big and needs trimming during the pasting process. The sticker is made of opaque black vinyl with the graphics pasted on it. Just need to spray water mixed with a little soap for easy adjustment of the sticker. Use a plastic card (not provided) to push out excess water and a razor blade to trim the excess. I actually leave about 2 mm excess to push it under the rubber trimmings of the car which will give it extra protection against the edges from curling up. After installation I discovered that this sticker which I have covered about 5 inches down from the screen can actually shield the car interior from strong sunlight and help to prevent the interior from getting heat up like an oven in the hot afternoon. A good and attractive investment.

This review is for the PowerGen PGMPP13000 External Battery Pack

Been using this charger for almost a week now and am not very pleased with its performance. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing to look at and to hold and touch as it has a nice bronze non-glossy metallic finish that does not attract fingerprints like other branded battery packs. I use this battery pack with an iPhone 5 and an iPad Mini. With both devices, I have the same experience. When either of my devices have a relatively "low" charge (anything below roughly 80%), the battery pack charges as expected. However, for the iPhone 5, It stops charging around the low 90% range. Press the power button on the battery pack and it will only continue for a minute or so then stops. Very annoying.

When using the battery pack on either of my devices when they are charged anywhere around mid 80%, the battery pack only charges for around a minute or two. This makes topping off my devices a pain and I just give up entirely.

I've left an email with www.powergenbatt.com several days ago but have gotten no response. I can't imaging their products have been getting such high ratings with performances like the one I'm getting so I can only imagine that mine is defective or I'm not using it properly. I'm more inclined to think it i the former.

I can't give this product anything higher than a 1-star based on its performance and the lack of response from the manufacturer. I think I'll stick to more reputable companies that respond to customer inquiries (i.e. Anker).

Total Scam

Complete waste of money. Upon connecting it, it works for a few seconds, and then the TV screen shows a QR code for me to scan to download an app. Why? It was working just fine. I went ahead and downloaded the app anyway and it tells me I need to connect to the dongle through Wifi or Bluetooth.

Problem is, the device doesn't show up. And I don't even see why this step is necessary - my friend had one of these things (from a different manufacturer) and it worked just fine. No Bluetooth or Wifi needed.

I'm no computer expert, but it's almost as if there's something in the device's firmware that overrides its ability to function, considering it works just fine for 5-10 seconds before my TV stops mirroring my phone and shows the QR code instead.

I'm going to send this piece of garbage back. This purchase was a mistake.
