Cheap and won't last

Very cute item. I purchased 5 of these as "door prizes" for nurses week. One arrived broken in half right from the box. The ADON had hers crack from lip area clear through the white part and slightly into the orange. She hadn't dropped it or microwaved it. Kept it in her office and rinsed out and just used for coffee or hot tea. Both beverages available without microwave at our facility. I returned hers and the original broken one. Not sure about the other three but they were warned thy won't hold up well. The extra one the ADON is currently using has deformed spots in the orange area--little bumps where it's not smooth. She still puts coffee and hot tea in it but figures it'll only last a short time then it'll just be a pen cup. Just an FYI for anyone interested in these---very cheaply made and will not last. I also just received notice my "return never arrived"...I've already received the "your return is on its way" and the "we have received your return" messages in May so I'm not sure what to make of this last message that just came today--a month later.

This. Mug. Is. Awesome.

Design: I mean come on...is there anything better than drinking coffee in your camper mug...in your camper?! It's a very unique design. I'm always in search of different, quirky mugs, and this design was the perfect addition to our collection.

Functionality: Has been able to keep our coffee/tea very warm for an extended period of time. It is easy to hold, the shape doesn't affect that at all. I use it while the camper is moving and have had no problems trying to keep a grip on it when there are bumps in the road.

Durability: So far, so good. It's actually more durable than some of the reviews let on. Haven't had any issues with minor drops or the dishwasher.

Packaging/Delivery: I had no issues whatsoever with this. It came packaged very well, no scratch or dings. It came right on time as well!

Highly recommend this mug, it would be a great gift for any fellow camper! Cheers!

1- I love this mug!
2- I bought this for myself and as CHRISTMAS GIFTS.
3- It holds 12 ounces.
4- It is bright and colorful.
5- Its attractive and visually appealing.
6- Its light in weight.
7- The prescription label on the mug is very easy to read.
8- the words on the prescription label is comfortably large enough that makes it easy to read.
9- the words on the prescription label are sharp and clear not smudged or cheap looking. A professional looking label, well done.
10- the cup is white on the inside.
11- I ordered this mug on December 2, 2014. It arrived quickly.
12- I bought it for myself as a Christmas present. I opened it on Christmas day and have been using it everyday for cold
and hot beverages.
13- the mug is microwaveable and I have been drinking hot beverages almost everyday since Christmas.
14- On March 2, 2015 I was washing the mug in the sink with dish washing detergent. I was holding the mug in my left
hand while cleaning the handle with my right hand and to my SURPRISE the handle broke off. It was a clean break,
the bottom part of the handle broke off. About an " inch " of the top part of the handle, was left attached.
15- That brings me to an important safety issue:
Every time I would put the mug in the microwave, I would heat the beverage for 1:20 minutes. The handle becomes
hot and needed a pot holder to wrap around the handle.
16- Since I never accidently banged the mug against anything, I am still SHOCKED as to why the handle would break
off while washing it.

Broken after a few days of use....

I loved the presentation and concept of the product. As a coffee lover, I bought this to enjoy my daily morning coffee. First of all, it's a ceramic glass that felt super fragile even from the beginning. Then, after a few days of use, the mug where I typically put the mouth chipped and began falling apart. After seeing how much it was broken down, I threw it away as soon as possible. It didn't last very long. I personally would buy this only for presentation and as a collectible case, but other than that, I wouldn't use it for a long term for coffee and/or drinking cup.

Looks cheap

Looks a lot better in the picture. I wish the quality was better. It's pretty expensive for a coffee mug, so I had higher expectations. The mug is light, but large. The prescription appears extremely fake. The handle looks more stupid in person than in the picture. I got it for two pharmacists, and after receiving the item, I definitely do not recommend getting it as a gift.

Poor Quality

I bought this mug several months ago. I exclusively hand wash it and it's now cracked all over.

I could hear it cracking as I poured the coffee in the first time I used it. I didn't think much of it. I've used it a few times since then and always hear a little cracking, today I looked inside and could visibly see all the cracks.

This mug is not fit using with hot liquids. It would make a better pen holder.

Once bitten twice shy. This is my second purchase of Big Mouth Toys mugs and it arrived with unglazed areas inside the cup and with a cracked handle that you can't really see or feel. I noticed the handle making a noise when you pick it up and can see now that the handle is not completely attached. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON bIG mOUTH tOYS JUNK!!! You pay top dollar for these because they are cool, but they are not worth it even if they were free...Unfortunately I let the first mug ( one with a pistol grip for a handle ) slide by when it started chipping without even touching it or clinking it on other dishes when washing it ; and now it is too late to return it. Again these are all DEFECTIVE JUNK and Amazon should not be selling them.

Unique mug gift!

Not sure what people are complaining about in terms of structure. The one I received was in tact and it looked by far the coolest mug I've seen.

I was looking for a xmas present for a friend (medical field) and was searching for something medically relevant but also humorous and functional.

This nails the spot. My only hesitation was people complaining about this item's integrity. Honestly, it feels like any other mug you can buy. As long as you aren't an idiot with it, it will work for a long time. No cracks were found upon delivery.

Would recommend to anymore.

I mean this is just a coffee mug. Made of adequate coffee mug material and is easy enough to clean. What you're paying for is the outside of the mug. It has been washed several times and does not appear to have any of the paint fading or chipping away. My wife, a pharmacist, got a chuckle from it, and that's all you can really hope for. I mean again it's just a little comedic gift for someone in this field.

Great novelty cup

I bought this to show that coffee is a prescription and to make my wife jealous as her coffee mug collection is more vast than mine. This cup stayed in my wish list for some time and when I finally got it, it did not disappoint. It definitely catches the eye and get a lot of questions as to where i got it from... overall its sturdy and easy to clean without any of the design rubbing off
