You must have an ID guard!

I might have gotten a bad one. but this didn't last long for me. At first it did it's job, but soon, the ink got too hazy leaving the info under it visible. I have stamp style and the wider/retreatable(?) style, they work much better, and I recommend those. Using these ID guard is FAR so much easier than shredding the papers, so these are must have items, but probably in different styles.

Smooth, permanent, efficient!

This works beautifully! It's smooth and permanent so you can use it on any surface. The pigment is strong so it does a great job blocking out all kinds of print. It works on flat surfaces and round surfaces such as medicine bottles. I haven't done my research on whether this is refillable but I would not mind buying another one once this one is empty. The only complaint is that it does have a strong chemical smell like any other permanent marker so use in a ventilated area if using it for a while.

I work in a profession where privacy is crucial. This fit the bill perfectly for me. Even when I use it on blue ink, I can't read anything underneath. If you're planning on using this for a planner with thin pages, just know it will show through to the next page, but doesn't bleed so I'm fine with that. Now I'm running around looking for any excuse to use it. Pill bottles, address labels, bills, I'm obsessed.

Covers with one swipe

Just got today and used on flat and round surfaces. Seemed to cover just fine on both. Dried quick, no smudge in my fingers. I'm pretty excited how well it works. Will have to test to see if the ink washes off with alcohol. Previously I've been using a marker and I suppose that would too now that I think of it so either way I'm doomed.

I lost my father in November of 2017 and have been going through important papers, etc. from the estate. I have used the Plus Guard Your ID repeatedly to block out names, numbers, addresses, and all manner of other important information before I discarded any of his important papers. This product works well. I just wish I had purchased more than 1. Guess there will be a second order in the future. Thanks for such a great item.

I love this ID security doo-hickie I just got! It works really well and now I don't have to shred every little thing like junk mail! I just have this by the trash to cover up my name and out it goes. Don't have to bring piles in anymore. Especially The credit card offers. So annoying. I love it. Gonna buy another one. This is a must have for everyone with ID theft on the rise

Love this, I use it on my mail so I can recycle the paper with address on them rather than shred. I still shred account numbers, but this works great! It doesn't seem to cover info completely on labels that are somewhat laminated, like UPS labels for or some catalogs. I think the shiny surfaces don't absorb the ink well, but all other papers- great! Mission accomplished!

I keep mine capped when not in use and haven't had any issues with ink drying out or lightening. It is a roller so normal use won't get in your hands, just be sure you're not getting it on your clothes or furniture, and you should be good to go! Doesn't seep through paper at all, if you're wondering for desk or countertops.

Doesn't work on glossy or shiny paper

The very first piece of mail I tried to use this on to hide my name/address, I could see straight through the ink and read the text below it just fine. Granted, the paper had a glossy finish to it so maybe this had something to do with it, but not all paperwork with private information comes on plain paper where this might work better.

I ordered this for my sister and then myself. It works GREAT!!!!!!!!! you just literally roll it across any print you want covered and that's it!! Rolls on smooth as silk and truly obscures the print. For anyone wanting to discard mail and block out info this is definitely the thing to get!!!!!?

Not wide Enough!

I like the design but the ink pad is small and you have to roll over the address at least x2 to cover it. this the second Guard Your ID Advanced I have purchased. I had enjoyed using the previous one that I purchased. It was more rectangular shape. This time I purchased the round shape instead thinking it would be easier to hold. Both said they were Regular size. If I every have to get another I will make sure it is a 1" width.
