Balls have air leaks after one use...

I purchased 4 for my kids this Christmas. Was so excited when I inflated them and aaw the kids playing in the yard. My disappointment came when they were done and 3 of the balls had almost completely deflated. I went to inflate them again and there is a leak/hole somewhere in the three after just one use! I tried to listen to find the location but dudnt want to spend my afternoon patching holes kn a product only used once!

I almost did not buy this product because I saw all the negative reviews, but went ahead and did because buying sumo suits for my 11 year old son's bday party was over $1,000!!!

These things are tough!!! We had boys from 8 yrs to 13 years (and even a couple of 40 year old boys) in them. They used them in the trampoline, they used them on the slip and slide, they used them to do flips into the pool (all which are probably not advised activities from the company itself :p ). The dads were catapulting kids down the slip and slide in them, swinging them around and around and them launching them across the yard! One of the dad's who has to be about 210 lbs was wearing it like a diaper and doing flips into the pool, and he wouldn't even dip into the water!

Maybe the reason it worked for us and not the other folks, is that maybe we didn't fill the compartments up to maximum capacity...I don't know. But these things lasted for our 4 hour party, with constant abuse, and even lasted for several more days.

Fun activity for kids!

I purchased this for my nephews (5 and 6 years old). It took awhile to blow them up, even with an electric air pump. But it was worth the wait! I think the key is to not over fill them; you can always add more air. There are four openings to the balls: one on top, one on each side, and one larger hole at the bottom for easier moving.

Pros:

Perfect size for my 5 and 6 year old nephews

Takes a while to blow up

I bought four of these bumper balls and all four went flat, didn't hold air, after very light use over a one month period with 10 yr old kids playing with them. These toys are not inexpensive...very poor quality.

While the 2 10-year-old boys had a blast, the inflatable bumper balls broke pretty quickly. So was basically a gag gift with a very short lifespan.
