Low powered warmer did not warm my coffee. I need a copper mug to conduct enough heat.

You can't deny this is the coolest looking mug warmer on the market. I have a very large mug at work and this warmer's plate area was more than enough surface for the bottom of my mug. After drinking half the coffee, I placed it on the warmer for an hour; no change in temperature. I drank a bit more and placed 1/4 of the coffee on the warmer and it still did not warm the coffee. I've noticed my mug has a very slight concave bottom, and so does all other mugs in the office. None of these mugs worked with this warmer. I've stacked pennies on the warmer plate to conduct the heat between plate and mug bottom. Still it did not warm coffee, nor mug for that matter. It's a fun product but not hot enough to warm a mug of coffee. I still like the design but feel I need to find a solution that will work and be able to use this product as intended. Given the copper pennies did conduct heat from the plate I would suggest finding a copper mug. These are also known as Moscow Mule mugs. It would be sad not to use this fun piece of art.

Not hot enough

I should have read the reviews before I bought this. While it is warm to the touch, it doesn't create enough heat to warm a mug and keep it warm. I even tried using a flat bottomed water glass and it barely kept it warmer than room temperature, even when there was barely any liquid still in the cup. The package does say it works best with metal mugs and flat bottomed mugs (I tried flat bottom, to no avail) but it's in tiny print and displays a mug on the package, so it can be misleading. It's really cute, but I doubt I could even use it as a candle warmer.

I hate that I bought this. Total waist of money. It doesn't get hot (at all). I put the palm of my hand on it after it had been plugged up for a while & it was warm in one spot, so pretty much impossible for the whole cookie to get hot.

This cookie mug warmer is adorable. When I work/draw I'm constantly drinking tea, and this cute little thing has proven to be an excellent coaster, and keeps my tea fairly warm. My only wish is that it kept my tea just a little bit warmer, but that's more of a personal preference. This product works best with a mug that has a completely flat bottom.

I should have read the reviews before I bought this. I have tried several coffee mugs/cups some that had flat bottoms but most were of the concave bottom type. NONE of the coffee was warm enough to drink after setting on the cookie warmer USB for about 30 minutes. Right now I am between sending it back and keeping it. The only way I would keep it was that it is a very nice looking coffee warmer.

This may look cute but if you are buying it because you want a "hot plate" to keep your coffee warm, look elsewhere. This product feels cheap and is. The heating element only affects the center of the entire surface (not sure if you've studied the bottom of a mug, but its concave which means the heat never even touches the mug).

Bottom line, this is not worth your money.
