Ben Nye's Fresh Scab 1 oz is just what the wound ordered with its natural ability to "scab over!" Authentically stained with a brown tint for exposed, dried colorization, this blood maintains a jelly-like consistency for blood clotting effects. Corn-syrup based with a fresh peppermint flavor for safe and pleasant use in and around the mouth. Washes from most fabrics and surfaces, though spot testing is suggested before use.

Perfect!!! I would just touch up a little but it stayed on all day, this is by far the best Halloween product that I've purchased on amazon. It looked fresh and it didn't run. I wore it to work all day, and I even went dancing it still looked great. Great for gory Halloween costumes, highly recommend.

I bought this to start my SFX makeup kit and practice some looks this past Halloween and it's been awesome. Perfect to pack into a wound and give it that extra texture regular liquid blood doesn't. It's obviously a small container at 1 oz so it can get pricey if you need it in bulk but it's Ben Nye so the quality makes the price well worth it and the size is great for someone like me who is just starting out.

I used this for my halloween costume as the "evil tooth fairy". It was great to place around the base of the teeth to give them that proper gorey look. I found it very easy to use and only needed a little bit.

Best scab blood out there

I used this at my old job, and it is by far the best scab blood I've tried. A little goes a long way, with HEAVY use the medium sized jar lasted me 3-4 months (I would use a few large globs (2-3 tablespoons minimum) per show at least 3 times a week.. The blood is super sticky and stays where it is put. If it gets in your mouth it has a vaguely sweet taste to it (it is non-toxic), but when it dries it can get itchy but it looks very realistic. The head wound and blood around the mouth in the photo is fresh scab.

easy and looks good enough without other makeup

this is some good stuff. i used it for cosplay. apply it gunky and it goes on dark, like congealed blood, apply it thin and it's like regular fresh blood. easy to apply with nothing but a paper towel from the bathroom at wherever you're at so you don't have to walk around town and get an ambulance called on you.

I got this product because of Mykie on Glam and Gore. I had always used drippy blood before but she made me want to branch out. And I LOVE it. Like I love the texture, I love how it looks, I'm still getting used to using it but that's a me thing, but it is literally the best thing in the world. The only thing is I thought the tub would be bigger for the price, but as I am an amateur and don't do fx a whole lot the cute little tub I got will last me a bit. Especially because you don't need much.

Worked like a charm for my Lara Croft Tomb Raider costume. It was really easy to use, even for a first timer. I bought some stippling sponges for application and I looked properly scraped and scabbed all day long. It wasn't itchy or uncomfortable at all and barely flaked at all for the 7 hours I had it on.

This stuff is great. Really looks realistic and can transform an SFX makeup look into something really gruesome. A little goes a long way so it's really giving you great bang for your buck.

It's not mean to go in your mouth, but I can say that having it around your mouth (eg the corners of your mouth) is very sticky and if it does get in your mouth, it tastes preeetty gross, but it's definitely not awful.

It's good stuff. Doesn't dry down completely but it also doesn't stay super wet so you won't ruin your work if you brush up against it a little bit.

Definitely recommend this product to everyone. Super gross, looks great.
