This is the worlds greatest product hands down! I lost my dignity a few years ago and have since been trying to find a way to face each day. Since I found this divers mask I can finally be myself again. I'm not sure how many stars I gave this product because im wearing it now and can only see life through a 1/2 thick hole but it looks like I gave it 20 stars from my hole. Small children no longer ask me for things for some reason but at least I can't see the presidential election

Love the pillow! I wore it to the local park and wound up in jail 5 hours later. Someone called the cops on me because he or she thought that I had huffed a bunch of spraypaints and shoved my head into a Thanksgiving turkeys butt then passed out on a park bench. This wasn't that big of a deal, but the fact that I had slept so hard from this insanely comfortable device a group of homeless people had stolen my pants and underwear. When I came to my hands were stuck in the pillow like a Chinese finger trap running around naked from the waist down screaming for help as I thought I was being chased by the homeless people that stole my pants. Unfortunately, it was the police I had managed to blindly escape them and smash through the display glass of a Little Ceasers Pizza. Overall it was the worst experience of my life, but the fact that I could sleep so hard that a group of homeless people could de-pants me in a public park at 6 o'clock in the afternoon is a testament to how effective this gigantic female genitalia looking device really is. Thank you Ostrich Pillow!!! Now I get to wear it in prison as underwear with the hole in the back.

Of course when I first saw this product, I thought it was a joke! Why would any normal person think this item could possibly be anything but stupid!

After using it, I realized, it is totally worth the $99 because it I had so many functions.
1. Wear it as indicated
*2. Wear it when you're walking around the house at night with all the lights off in case you run into something. You're head will be protected!
3. Wear it anytime you're watching the news so that, if the stupidity drives you mad and you decide to slam your head on a table, you can avoid serious injury.
4. When your driving in the car and your kids will not stop fighting about the other person staring at them, put this over the head of the person staring so that they can no longer irritate their sibling. You can even put one on each child's head before you start driving so that no one can see or hear anyone else. The drive is so peaceful. Added bonus: extra protection in case of an accident.

Or
5. My most favorite use of all: When you have to pick your nose but you're in a public place, slip this over your head before digging out that chunk of gold. No one will know it's you and you have a ton of fabric on which to rub your finger clean of crusty boogers. The method also works for removing earwax from your ears.

Doesn't live up to the hype

So I bought this based on the reviews and videos on the manufacturer site.

Positives:
-mouth hole keeps me cool
-ear holes to put headphones though
-material high quality

Negatives:
-lack of neck support
-lack of side support (if I was to lean against something instead of having neck support)

My neck always hurts after using it. If there was more side support I could just lean my head against a window and sleep. People do wake me up all the time on the train to ask me about it though. Quite a novelty.

After reading all reviews we had to try this out. It lived up to the belly laughs initially, it was like a door knob everyone in the house had a turn but it did not stand up to travel rigors. On its maiden trip, it developed a hole in the mouth area and started leaking little balls from the seams almost immediately. Sending it back. It is soft and comfortable but the wearer ended up with little pearls all over the face and neck area. It was a bust.

Why is this thing so small and snug? It's too tight! Plus it doesn't look like what you see in the pictures. Is this the real ostrich pillow or an imitation?

Ok, this is definitely fake. There aren't any microbeads in this. It's cotton or some other material. I want my money back!

I love it! It is really amazing, it is super soft and so good for sleeping. The only problem I have is that because it is a pillow it is hard to fold or pack easily with other things. But with a mediumish bag you can carry it fine!

A Little Disappointed...

The product had a strong chemical odor from the moment I removed it from the box. For something you put on your head, this could lead to a headache for someone who is sensitive to such things.

Maybe I just have a big head but the pillow is not as big as it looks in the pictures. When using it as it was designed, the hole for breathing also came up to my eyes making it nearly impossible to block out the light. When you stick your arms in the top, it pulls the pillow up and uncovers your eyes. This is due to the size of the pillow.

The inside lacks a lot of filling making the support of the pillow sub-par at most. When you put it on your head, gravity takes over and all the filling groups up at the bottom leaving poor support for the rest of your head.

The stitching on the pillow does not appear to be very sturdy either and I fear it could easily get snagged and all the filling would come out.

The fabric used on the pillow is good, and soft to the touch so getting your head in an out is easy.

Overall, I would say it would make for an excellent gag gift, but for the price, the functionality of the pillow could really use some work.
