i barely ever write reviews, this started out as a great product did exactly what it was designed to do, keep beer cold. I have had these for about 3 weeks now and have only hand washed them and stuck them in the freezer. The major problem is the rubber stops at the top have started to fray and they are leaking beer. This is a huge problem and I think it is too late to return them. I am giving it 2 stars because even though it is starting to break, it did keep the beer cold. Work on the stoppers and send me the 2.0 version and I will change my review. Thank you

Very cool trinket! I got these for a friend as a Christmas gift. Of course they live in the same house so I can reep the benefits of gift all the time! They work very well at keeping your beer cold for much longer especially if you are just causally "having a few".

Pros:
- Fits well in all the bottle I've tried
- Keeps drink cold as advertised

Cons:
- The unit itself does not stay cold very long so you can only really use them for 1 drink before having to refreeze
- The canister inside duals as the storage container but the sides are flimsy so other stuff in the freezer crushes it without the cardboard
- Base where the units sit on arrived broken so one of them doesn't really fit inside anymore

Of course you have to take a decent gulp before inserting the unit into your bottle but with the concept this is unavoidable.

Bought these as a gift for my husband, but stole one for myself. I washed one and put it in the freezer. At the same time, i took a warm bottled soda and put it in the fridge. An hour later, put the chillsner in my still kinda warm soda. Unlike a previous review I had read that states it doesnt make a warm drink colder, for me it did! My soda kept getting colder with every minute that passed. Maybe I lucked out on it magically working for my soda, or maybe the previous reviewer has some hot hands that warmed his bottle. Either way, Im super pleased and will buy some more for myself and for gifts!

It's a good idea, keeps your bottle cold for longer. Now! On my first 2 beers I found out the hard way that the round tip (where you drink from) isn't round all throughout, so when I first wanted to remove it from the first beer and on to the second, I cut my hand. Be careful taking it out of your beers, that's a silly design mistake and takes away from the whole product experience. Good gift idea though, nice packaging.

I bought this exclusively for my wife. She has always said that she cannot drink beer fast enough to keep it cold long enough. This product fit the bill quite nicely. The only thing she wished was that the top sipper part were to be plastic or a material other than metal for she says she can taste the metal. Otherwise great job on providing another product that makes us consumers enjoy endless days of drinking and libation.

It's another gimmick gift. I received these for Christmas. They do what they are designed to do, just don't expect them to make a warm beer cold. They may at best reduce the temperature by a few degrees. They are well made, great finish, but they only fit in tall bottles.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband, father, and father-in-law. Each thought it was a very clever and crafty idea. It definitely works great at chilling the beer but there are a few downsides, particularly if theyre to be used but some forgetful males in your life. I find theres an issue with remembering to freeze them again after use so they arent always ready when desired. It might be nice if they came in bigger packs so they could be better rotated. They also obviously dont fit in all types of beer, mainly in your domestic taller bottles.

have used it a few times after chilling it in two different refrigerators over the past year, have not gotten the same performance I saw on testimonial videos on line, I give it an average grade as I do not see that big of a difference in coldness of beer 20-30 minutes later, which I would expect because if you are drinking the beer quickly, why need he device, it should help when you a "nursing" a beer over time

This is probably one of the worst gimmick type products I've had. Got it as a gift. Idea seems good on paper, but in application there are some major issues that make this chiller and awful product in application. First, it only fits your standard 12 ounce bud light/coors type of bottle. Newcastle? Doesn't work. Stubby bottle? Nope. Not a super-huge deal breaker, but buyer beware. Second, you either have to take a large gulp initially or pour some out, because when you put the chiller in it displaces at least an ounce or two of beer if it was full to begin with. This is rather inconvenient and turns a simple thing into more of an 'operation'. Third, and worst of all, the beer doesn't pour smoothly out of the bottle with it in. So basically it's a mystery when the beer is coming out the spout when you try to drink it. All in all, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this product to anyone. It seems like some quirky kickstarter idea that just doesn't work in the real world, but they marketed the heck out of it. Like I said earlier, this product seems good on paper, and that is where it should have stayed. Just get a koozey. Most of the heat transferred to the beer is from the hand anyways.

Got this as gift for my brother, Could be considered a bit misleading. It is designed to fit in standard 2 ounce bottle or long neck designs. Don't think that you can get a hot beer or other drink and it will instantly make it cold. IF you have a warm beverage you would probably end up using two to drink it "cold" . If you already have a some what cool drink , one is great to keep it at that temperature and chill a little more. Overall not a bad gift or concept . Just have to have the right expectations
