My first skeleton watch

There are few products I buy on amazon that inspire me to leave feedback, and this is one of them. Did alot of brand research and read countless reviews before deciding to buy this one. Had my concerns when people mentioned that Stuhrling is a Swiss brand but the actual watch is made in China, but after receiving it, I am very much impressed with the build quality. Quite frankly, I no longer care if the watch is made in China, because to me, it looks good. Have it 1 week now and hasnt lost time yet (wore it twice). The only thing I can think of is that the leather band feels a bit stiff, but I'm sure it will soften over time. Also, I didnt notice in the amazon pictures but I was pleasantly surprised to find a tiny blue jewel on the crown that I thought was a nice touch :) My next watch is going to be the Stuhrling Delphi 657.02. If you are thinking about buying this and have doubts, I can testify you wont be disappointed. Cheers!

Does not keep time!

Watch lost 10 minutes each day. Even worse, the hands would get stuck an not move. The watch was beautiful, but I had to return it. What good is a watch that doesn't keep time?

This watch will take your breath away it's that beautiful. It's mechanical, so the precision isn't as good as a battery powered watch, but that's what you get with a genuine skeleton watch. That's what I wanted. And the back is also clear so you can see all the tiny gears moving in sync on both the front and back. Ohhh.....I'm in LOVE!

I would say that one would be hard pressed to find a higher quality watch at this price. Fortunately, you are able to see the craftsmanship at work through the face. The self-winding function works smoothly and keeps the watch running perfectly. I have not noticed any loss of time so far. Warning: If you are not used to self winding watches, this watch will stop running if it isn't worn or wound on a semi-regular basis. It's a very striking timepiece and I have received multiple compliments on it. I comes in a nice, rectangular box that seemed well protected and contained a polishing cloth and lots of informational material. The only con I might mention is that the strap, like many new watch straps, is a little stiff at first. However, after a few days of wearing it, it became very comfortable. I can safely say that, while this was my first, it will not be my last Stuhrling timepiece.

I was in need of a new watch as my old Invicta was scratched to hell, and when I saw this on sale for $200 I couldn't resist. The watch looks amazing with a perfectly sized face. I've already had 3 comments on it and have owned it less than a week; however, if you are looking for a watch that tells time as accurately as possible, steer clear of this one. I wake up each morning with my watch 3-10 minutes fast. This does not personally bother me much as I wear watches for fashion, and have no problem rewinding it each morning, but most people looking to spend a lot of money on a watch would hope that it does its job well. The inaccuracy of this watch is made up for with its looks in my opinion, but evaluate what you want from a timepiece before purchasing this.

I love to aesthetics of this watch however it's a bit hard to set since there is only one knob to set two time zones. However the reason for the bad review is because after having the watch for about a year one of the internal components broke and I sent it back to the manufacturer. After waiting several months to get my watch back they sent it back to me but it has run slow ever since which makes it less than useful to me as a watch.

Also it's a self winding watch which means that even before it broke it only kept accurate time when I was wearing it, which can be frustrating when I leave town for the weekend and come back to find my watch stopped running.

When I was shopping around for watches, Stührling definitely caught my eye. I narrowed it down to a couple that I liked and read the reviews. There are a lot of heavily negative reviews out there for the brand, but thankfully I ordered anyway, bc I LOVE this watch!

People complement me on it everywhere I go and it keeps great time. Granted, I've only had it a month but so far, so good.

I'm sure a lot of the complaints about the watch or company may have been somewhat deserved but to tell people to never buy this product is a bit strong. Obviously you got a lemon. Just return or exchange it and move on.

I was apprehensive about buying a watch online....what a great surprise this watch has been upon receipt to a couple of days of wearing it!!! Great packaging, brilliant display features, and an extremely good fit for my daily wear to work!!! I think the face of the watch may be somewhat larger than average,but this is exactly what I was looking for as part of the overall design. Self winding...but has kept perfect time so far, so the proof will only come with time (no pun intended). Exceptional value for the price and several compliments already from friends at a social event last night. Would highly recommend this as a daily dress watch...thanks, Amazon for a quality buy

Nice looking watch, but doesn't keep time.

The watch arrived and looked high quality, but did not accurately keep time. Its motion stopped despite my constant movement and winding (it stopped three minutes after a decent winding) and needed constant monitoring and prodding in the form of winding or shaking to return to motion several times per hour. Without the prodding it would stop indefinitely and be useless at keeping any sort of accurate time. I wish this were a better quality watch since I appreciate its looks, but I feel money would be better spent elsewhere if someone were looking for a quality time piece.
